DANIEL CODD. PARANORMAL LANCASHIRE. AMBERLEY, 2011
Unlike some books with similar titles this is not the work of a self proclaimed psychic or a group of overgrown teenage sensationalist 'ghost hunters' but a serious and interesting look at the folklore of the modern (i.e. post 1974) county of Lancashire.
The first two chapters trace the development of ghost lore, often using original sources. By this means it can be seen that a good number of the ghost stories, especially those surrounding 'venerable piles' can be traced back several centuries, and that modern ghost lore is often a continuation of this tradition. It isn't, of course, easy to distinguish those stories in which genuine dramatic events led to the circulation of ghost stories as a sort of memorial, and others in which pseudo historical stories were invented to account for peoples anomalous personal experiences. Some of these ghosts like 'white ladies' suggest euhemerised and historicised versions of stories originally told about fairies or pre-Christian deities, or at least the survival of folk paganism.
In later chapters Codd looks at tales of the Pendle and other witches, mystery creatures both natural and supernatural, and modern UFO stories. Some of both the mystery animal and UFO occupant stories if told in earlier times would have been attributed to boggarts and fionns, suggesting how protean anomalous personal experiences can be reinterpreted in different times and cultural conditions. Recommended for anyone with an interest in folklore.
LEO RUICKBIE. A BRIEF GUIDE TO THE SUPERNATURAL: GHOSTS, VAMPIRES AND THE PARANORMAL. CONSTABLE AND ROBINSON, 2012.
As can be seen from the title this book briefly covers a wide range of topics, not all of them in the main canon of psychical research. The approach is that of the sociologist and historian rather than that of the psychical researcher and his approach is both eclectic and agnostic. In the first section he deals with "supernatural entities", not just ghosts but fringe topics such as vampires and the undead, angels, demons and extraterrestrials.
Today, of course, people still claim encounters with ghosts and angels and these represent a still living folklore. Few people today though claim actual encounters with vampires, though tales of zombies, largely the product of western mythology can still be encountered in Haiti, and still few with devils, outside of rituals of exorcism. Extraterrestrials involves the whole subject of ufology, and here I suspect Ruickbie is on less familiar territory.
In the second part of the book Ruickbie summarises the various approaches to "the supernatural", that of magic, spiritualism and science, the latter covering mesmerism, psychical research and parapsychology. Here he takes a refreshingly neutral point of view, as against the polemics of believers and skeptics. Though the coverage is general, there is a surprisingly well detailed account of the origins of spiritualism. The book is well referenced in the form of footnotes and makes a good general introduction.

Another wide ranging collection of articles on all aspects of cryptozoology from the seriously scientific to the whimsical (the cryptozoology of the Dr Doolittle stories) and from the rational, through the paranormal to the outright bonkers (the nasty old djinns/boggarts are about to launch an invasion of the earth, as per the late and unlamented Gordon Creighton).
There are plenty of stories here which challenge the paws-and-pelts view of cryptozoology such as Neil Arnold's discussion of ghost horses and apparent centaurs. The mythological is covered with a discussion of the mystery creatures of Inuit and other North American mythology. The whole is rounded off by reports from the various branches of the CFZ.

These two books are strictly for the spiritualist true believer. Debi Chestnut's subtitle suggests that this might have been a sensible study of the different natural events, physical and psychological, which give rise to the belief that one's house is haunted. There are a few pages on this, and a couple on conducting historical research, but most of the book is devoted to what type of spirits (existence assumed without question) are haunting your house. The author is a medium, need I say more.
Kenneth Harmon is perhaps representative of the sort of people I used to meet when I was a local history librarian, they have some unusual experiences, assume their house is haunted, and then try to conduct historical research to find out who is haunting it. In Harmon's case not only does he conduct this research and ends up trying to communicate with the spirit (again existence assumed without question) doing the haunting by means of diving rods. The answers, which include yes, aliens did land at Roswell; no, evolution is wrong, clearly reflect the authors own beliefs.
Much of his time was spent photographing 'orbs', which competent psychical researchers know are artefacts of digital photography, and other alleged spooky things. Needless to say none of these photographs are reproduced in the book. The 'spirit' later seems to have moved house with them, which suggests that it is a product of the family's imagination in some way or other.
STAN GORDON. SILENT INVASION: THE PENNSYLVANIA UFO-BIGFOOT CASEBOOK, EDITED BY ROGER MARSH. STAN GORDON PUBLICATIONS. 2010.
A previous generation of ufologists will recall an article by Berthold Eric Schwarz in the first issue of "Flying Saucer Review" for 1974 which detailed a Pennsylvania man's encounter with a strange light, Bigfoot-like creatures, and a bizarre visionary experience. Stan Gordon was the principle investigator of that case, and in this book he catalogues dozens of cases of Bigfoot-like creatures, strange lights in the sky, mysterious close encounters and general weirdness, almost all from Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania from 1973 to 1974.
Judging by the cases catalogued here there may have been as many claimed Bigfoot sightings in this East Coast state in two years than in the whole of the Pacific North West in decades. Gordon admits there is little or no physical evidence, only dodgy three-toed tracks and skin and hair samples, all of which were found to have conventional origins. Gordon confesses himself completely baffled as to what was going on here, but one explanation that comes to my mind is a social panic of the sort studied by Robert Batholomew, which was aided and abetted by a good number of hoaxers, though whether that would be entirely sufficient is perhaps a moot point.
Of course the events/experiences recounted here mainly took place during the last truly great American UFO wave, at a time when the headlines were being increasingly dominated by Watergate. These were strange and paranoid times on both sides of the Atlantic, and this study should be of interest to both Forteans and sociologists.
L. B. TAYLOR JNR. MONSTERS OF VIRGINIA: MYSTERIOUS CREATURES IN THE OLD DOMINION. STACKPOLE BOOKS, 2012.
Virginia writer L. B. Taylor here tackles the "monsters" of Virginia from the viewpoint of the folklorist rather than that of the cryptozoologist. While there are a number of stories of bigfoot and out of place pumas, there are also folk stories of vampires, the wampus cat (here presented as an upright walking cat, devil dogs that announce the end of life and even more devilish ones which steal the souls of sinners, tiny humanoids with cloven hoofed feet, some werewolves, and quite a number of other traditional tales. "I've got 2 long articles I can't seem to finish. One is for WOE" and the other for here... "I think". I've got a little bit of block and there hasn't been a whole lot of nuttiness going on as of late -- aside from "MOD's" order to destroy all future UFO reports after 30 days (to avoid having to release them to the public). Frankly, I'm surprised they released anything in the first place. So, with relative quiet on the UFOlogical front, there's not much to pick on.
Although I did hear someone use the phrase "Don't throw the baby out with the bath water" for the 4th time in a week. It's a particular peeve of mine, since its a peculiar saying that tends to stand glaringly out when in use -- and it "is" in use a lot during paranormal interviews. And besides, I dislike children, so naturally, I would "want" to throw the baby out with the bathwater. If anything, I'd be more inclined to save the bathwater. It's not unlike "having my cake and eating it to", though I haven't eaten any children (in case that wasn't clear).
A lot of the past few days has mostly been me reading through my "Alerts", trying to find something of interest, with little luck. This is when I end up watching documentaries or listening to music in a slight haze of cigarette smoke and candlelight. My boredom has increased tenfold as of late, which, in the case of last night, lead me to a documentary called "Roswell: The UFO "Uncoverup".
I don't know why I do that to myself. Roswell is one of those cases which cause me to groan about every time it's mentioned. Yet occasionally, I will go out of my way to watch documentaries about it. This documentary had a kind of hokey flare to it (imagine that!), and I zoned out a bit near the end when someone began discussing 3rd and 4th Densities which triggered some flashbacks of "Zeta Talk" c. 2002. And as expected, this lead to flashbacks of 2003 when everyone was waiting for "Nibiru" to give us a good whoopin'. Of course, that never happened -- "or it" did, as some people claim, explaining that the rogue planet passed through our solar system in a different density. Oh, and the poles shifted too... just not "here" in our meager little slice of 3rd Density Peach Cobbler.
If the mythical "Marduk" does appear and devastates our wee planet, I wonder how "HAARP "will beat the rap.

History broadcast 4 new episodes of this show on one day. This one followed the one on MIB, and picks up the Dougway Proving Grounds-UFO connection. The premise is that Dougway is the new home of the UFO-back-engineering that used to be at Area 51 (before it was outed). The base is now equipped for a Space Shuttle (alternate) landing. One former worker tells of strange lights in the sky. UFO researchers claim to have been intimidated when staking out the site from public land. As they talk near the base, Dougway reps come out and tell them not to film - despite their permits. A Public Relations officer says Dougway is the nations chem-bio testing facility, and they test protection equipment for military and civilian applications -- but she wont discuss any private contractors on the base. She says the no-overflight airspace is to assure privacy -- but she knows of no UFO technology at the base. (She seems amused by the question, and says shes been asked that before.) After hearing more tales about the base, the UFO-H team decides to sneak up to it on mountain bikes, to try and get closer to the gates without being noticed. They see some destroyed vehicles, but nothing unusual. Another witness, former cop, claims to have seen a circular UFO, followed shortly thereafter by military jets. He also says he found decapitated horses in the area - which the show connects to either UFOs or secret laser weapons. Another witness, Alien Dave, has pictures of a strange glow at the base, perhaps a laser or other beam weapon - followed by UFOs. He also claims to have seen planes vanish in mid flight, and invisible vehicles kicking up dust. Kevin concludes that theres not enough evidence to show area 51 has moved here, or that there is any alien technology. Bill and Pat disagree. Then, oddly, the show wraps up with a recap segment of the whole series that makes it seem like the end of the show (though History played 2 new shows that night). Did the series probe the truth about UFOs, as they claim, or did it merely reinforce 21st century myths?

The witness did their best to estimate how far the object was away. "I would say that this object could have been as far away as over Tucson or Phoenix and as high up as possibly orbital." The witness then described a change in the object's direction. "Soon, it moved slowly toward the south."The witness then described that his wife was wondering what he has doing. "At some point my wife came out onto our back deck and asked what I was looking at... She must have sensed that I was watching something strange." The witness indicated that both him and his wife began to notice another object. "At some point one of us noticed there was another smaller object nearby; I can't remember if I hadnoticed this before she came out or not." The wife of the witness then decided to try to take photos of the UFO. The witness also described the type of camera that they used."She grabbed her camera from inside the house, a Canon EOS Rebel T3i with EF-S 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens... She began taking photos." The witness described the amount of photos taken. "We ended up with 49 pictures captured at (on average) 6 MB each." The witness then described seeing multiple other UFOs. "While taking pictures we could see up to 13 of the smaller objects." The witness then noticed the apparent interactions of the UFOs. "They appeared to be moving and my wife and I think that at least two of them moved up to the bigger object then moved away at a different direction." The witness noted further details of the UFOs relative to the horizon. "This cluster was generally ~ 45 degrees above horizon ~ 300 degrees magnetic azimuth from Tombstone."The witness noted the time they decided to post photos of the UFOs on Facebook, relative to thetime that the UFOs dissipated."Sometime shortly before 12:44 PM I went just inside the back door to post on FaceBook via our dining room PC that we were watching UFOs. At 12:50 I posted that we lost sight of them. They had moved slightly northward and then just dissipated." The witness further noted his military background. "I have been with the military for 26+ years; much of it as an Intelligence analyst."The witness indicated his travelling experience and his knowledge of celestial bodies and aircraft "I have traveled the world; and I have watched the sky, aircraft and celestial bodies for all my years; and have been an aviation enthusiast." At some point one of us noticed there was another smaller object nearby; I can't remember if I had noticed this before she came out or not. She grabbed her camera from inside the house, a Canon EOS Rebel T3i with EFS 55-250 mm telescopic zoom lens. She began taking photos. We ended up with 49 pictures captured at (on average) 6 MB each. While taking pictures we could see up to 13 of the smaller objects. They appeared to be moving and my wife and I think that at least two of them moved up to the bigger object then moved away at a different direction. This cluster was generally ~ 45 degrees above horizon, ~ 300 degrees magnetic azimuth from Tombstone. Sometime shortly before 12:44 PM I went just inside the back door to post on FaceBook via our dining room PC that we were watching UFOs. At 12:50 I posted that we lost sight of them. They had moved slightly northward and then just dissipated.I know it's debatable whether stars can be seen during the day but we checked Google Sky shortly afterward and did find that Uranus was in that area of the sky at the time of our sighting. duplicate many of the airship sightings.

about it. We also discussed Keely and other flight possiblities.
Wally said he "wished he had known all this BEFORE writing his book"
and he would have included much of it as additional information in

Analysis of the 1897 Airships -- November 18, 1990

Observations about possible technologies used in the 1897 airships.
There are several different modes of flight covered in the combined

the Winged Airship
The Winged airship copies the form of a bird wing in a vastly larger
size as based on the descriptions of the wings witnessed. It is
possible that a wing surface might be constructed of a sufficiently
light material and with the proper "feathering" movements.
This "feathering" movement would follow the natural pattern of the
bird wing in that separate thin plates would be hinged so that a
wing moving in a downward motion would cause the plate to take a
horizontal position for maximum air movement.
When the wing moved up, the hinged plate would assume a vertical
position for the minimum resistance to air flow. The speed of the
wing up and down movement would depend on the wing surface area and
the thrust velocity necessary to lift the payload.
Though inefficient when compared to propellers or jets, such a
device would fly. There are available today, mechanical models of
birds which fly using just such a flapping motion.
the Gas Airship
The first airship in modern times was flown by the Montgolfiers in
1783. It used hot air although other lifting gases such as coal gas
and hydrogen were used.
Helium was first discovered by Lockyer in 1868 while viewing the
yellow spectral lines of sodium in rays from the sun. Helium was
first produced on Earth by Ramsay in 1895 from the mineral clevite.
One case in particular mentions a "secret" gas extracted from air
passing through chambers containing certain chemicals.
In this case, the airship is said to be both propelled and sustained
by a gas which had the property of great compressibility under a
slight pressure and a correspondingly great power of expansion.
Helium fits this description.
Chemistry rates the elements in order of Terrestrial Abundance and
Cosmic Abundance. In terms of Terrestrial Abundance, Helium has no
listing, yet in terms of Cosmic Abundance, Hydrogen is listed as 3.5
times 10 to the 8th or 350,000,000 followed closely by Helium at 3.5
times 10 to the 7th or 35,000,000.
Now Helium being such a very light gas, must surely be present in
quantity in the upper stratosphere of the Earth. Since Hydrogen and
Oxygen are both present in our air, Helium must also be present
though somewhat rarified. It is not so improbable that a process
could be envisioned which could remove Helium DIRECTLY from the air.
Another possibility can be seen in work which Nikola Tesla carried
out prior to the turn of the 20th century. It involved a device
known as a Tesla Turbine and could compress air to capture Ozone in
a highly condensed state.
Tesla indicated that this compressed Ozone was highly efficient AS A
MOTIVE FORCE. In fact, Tesla designed a flying device based on this
very principle, although, to my knowledge it was never built.
Oxygen as it occurs in nature is referred to as "molecular oxygen"
since it has 2 atoms. Atomic oxygen on the other hand has only 1
atom and is extremely rare due to its tendency to attach to almost
anything. This is the basis for the "free radical" theory of aging.
Ozone is oxygen with 3 or more oxygen atoms. It is formed by
electrical excitation or ionizing radiation in the form of
ultraviolet light.
This excitation causes the disruption of some molecular oxygen
groupings to generate free radicals which bond to the more stable
molecular oxygen groupings.
Of course, the Ozone layer is the hot topic for the past couple of
years so we know that Ozone could be used as a lifting or propulsive
gas.
the Aero Airship
This type of airship is most intriguing. It indicates that the
inventor had a very sophisticated understanding of aerodynamic
principles.
A German Aeronautical engineer came up with a form of propulsion in
the late 40's and early 50's which he termed an AERODYNE. Not an
airplane, since it took full advantage of aerodynamic principles.
The body of the ship was an inverted teardrop over which was
suspended a propeller, jet or source of high air movement.
Using the principle of BOUNDARY LAYER DRAG, the moving air was
ENTRAINED to the surface of the inverted teardrop to form a jet of
highly collimated air as it exited the tip of the teardrop.
The Boundary Layer was first discovered by Prandtl in the early
1900's. His work was further improved upon by Tesla, Coanda and
Venturi.
Basically, any rapidly moving fluid, including air will "stick" to
the surface of a mass and generate miniature whirlpools which tend
to slow down the movement of the air. If the mass is to be moved
through the air or fluid, then the body of the mass should be
designed as efficiently as possible to minimize this drag.
Note that many of the airship cases and one in particular show the
shape of the ship to be a "Mexican cigar" or a cylinder which tapers
to a point on each end.
This ship provided a most fascinating description of something
called a SNAIL-SHELL DEVICE.
"At each end of the ship is a large steel snail-shell device,
which was the apparatus by which the strange machine was
PROPELLED.
Large gasoline engines caused whichever of these are in use
to REVOLVE RAPIDLY, and to BORE THROUGH THE AIR, dragging or
pulling the ship along at a wonderful rate of speed."

The ship was described as being cigar-shaped, about 200 feet long,
and 50 feet across at the widest point, gradually narrowing to a
point at both ends.
At each end of the ship was a LARGE STEEL SNAIL-SHELL DEVICE that
was used to propel the strange machine.
Now anyone who is familiar with natural geometry knows of the
Fibonacci and the Golden Ratio (PHI). The Fibonacci series begins
with 1, add another 1 to yield 2, then add the last two numbers to
get the next in the series.
Thus, 1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,...etc.. Examples of this series
occurs in Nature in the form of spirals of tiny florets in the core
of daisy blossoms, pine cones, pineapples, seashells, leaves and a
host of other areas. These patterns occur in both clockwise and
counter-clockwise flows.
Once the number 3 is passed in the Fibonacci series, we come to the
ratio known as the Golden Ratio. This is 1:1.618.
During the early part of the 20th century, Victor Schauberger
studied the flow of water and the motion of fish. He discovered a
principle which he termed IMPLOSION.
Schauberger says that man uses EXPLOSIVE techniques in his devices
which generate heat, are inefficient and destructive to Nature.
IMPLOSION on the other hand, generates cold, is overly efficient
(>100%) and is constructive in Nature.
Now, a spiral built on the Snail shell principle would take
advantage of this IMPLOSION for tremendous if not over-unity
efficiencies. Therefore, not much energy would be required to
operate the engines.

This is another intriguing concept mentioned in the Wilson airship
case. The wheel rim seems to be the key to understanding the
propulsive mechanism of this device. The description follows:

small wheel at the stern of the boat is operated.
This wheel is something like that in a ship's pilot house,
but instead of having spokes there was an arrangement of
MAGNETS connected with wires to storage batteries.
BY PASSING THE CURRENT OVER THE TIRE OF THE WHEEL, the
operator was ABLE TO OVERCOME GRAVITY THUS ELEVATING THE SHIP.
BY PASSING THE CURRENT IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION AND UNDER THE
TIRE THE WEIGHT OF THE SHIP WAS INCREASED and could sink like
a shot to the earth,
and by passing the currents in OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS AT THE SAME
TIME, the vessel would remain HORIZONTAL AT ANY DISTANCE FROM
THE EARTH."
I believe this uses the principle of the neutral center as
discovered and developed by John W. Keely in the late 1900's.
Basically, it creates an artificial center of gravity which moves at
a greater velocity than the natural center of gravity. By altering
the physical position of the artificial center in relation to the
fixed natural center, the ship will follow that movement in ANY
DIRECTION.
This involves relatively radical concepts which are laced throughout
KeelyNet.
Vanguard note
What we find most intriguing is that John W. Keely, namesake of
the KeelyNet BBS, had demonstrated a flying machine to the US
ARMY in 1893. After the Army turned down Keely's offer of the
flying machine, little is mentioned of what happened to it or
the research pertaining to it.
Not to add fuel to any conspiracy but we have found something
disturbing in regard to the book written by Clara Bloomfield
Moore on Keely in the late 1890's. The title is "Aerial
Navigation" and was intended to promote Keely's concepts
PARTICULARLY in regard to the system of flight as evinced by
the title.
Through the gracious sharing of Mr. Victor Hansen, we were
allowed to copy THE MISSING CHAPTERS of the book, which were
INTENTIONALLY REMOVED from a re-issued version of the book
sometime in the very late 1890's or early 1900's. We have no
idea who might have done this but it could be reasonably
assumed that someone did not want Keely's information in the
public eye.
Note that only 4 years after this, the Airship sightings took
place with indications of a secret group of investors
sponsoring the research and testing as hinted at in some of the
pilot interviews.
The information gleaned from the interviews with the pilots of
these machines provides very little in the way of technical
information although what is offered is most tantalizing.
Despite the dated sighting (1897), the surviving information
suggests the existence of at least one group of individuals who
seem to have kept the technology hidden.
Perhaps the UFO phenomenon is indeed intentional misdirection
on the part of these individuals to keep investigators from
discovering the true source (and technology) relating to anti-
gravity and free energy. Of course, other vested interests
might also take actions to suppress such technologies which
simply add to the problems.
Speculation can easily run rampant when confronted with
information such as this and as shown in the most excellent
book "Genesis" by W. A. Harbinson. The book is definitely
science fiction yet weaves much of the factual information into
an amazing story.
It hints that one of the pilots of the airships giving the name
Wilson might have developed a highly sophisticated and secret
community which survives even to this day in the frozen wastes
of Anti-Antartica.
Would that Harbinson had information on Keely, he could have
easily substituted Keely for Wilson without missing a beat.
The analogies are striking. However, Keely is recorded as
dying in 1898 although conversations with other Keely
researchers speculate on the possibility that he did not die.

El caso Aurora, conocido tambi'en como , es, sin duda, uno de los m'as interesantes, puesto que tuvo lugar en 1897, a~nos antes de que la aviaci'on. Ocurri'o el 19 de abril en la localidad texana Aurora. Dos d'ias despu'es, el peri'odico The Dallas Daybreak Word publicaba un reportaje de su periodista S. E. Haydon, relatando que un gran n'umero de testigos hab'ia visto c'omo una -aeronave sobrevolaba Aurora, para estrellarse inmediatamente despu'es contra un molino de viento. Haydon recogi'o el testimonio de T. J. Junto a 'este encontraron una serie de documentos, escritos con ininteligibles jerogl'ificos. El reportero tambi'en informaba de que la nave se encontraba en tan mal estado, que era imposible siquiera formular una hip'otesis sobre su origen. Seg'un los testigos presenciales, los fragmentos del objeto volador, esparcidos por el lugar, semejaban una mezcla de aluminio y plata. El art'iculo de Haydon terminaba con la siguiente frase:. De lo que no caben dudas es de que en 1897 un objeto se estrell'o en las tierras que el juez Proctor ten'ia en Aurora. Orbs, or glowing spheres of different colors, were a feature in several of my encounters with Reptilians. (See here for a partial discussion of this.) These orbs are not by any means limited to use by the Reptilians. Based on what I have witnessed and personally been through over a span of some forty-plus years they are a standard vehicle utilized by a wide range of beings and entities who have commerce with the fauna, including of course humans, living on the terrestrial hardscape. It seems, based on what I've been able to determine from my various experiences, that these energetic orbs facilitate a translation back and forth between a physical form and, for lack of better terms, an etherial composition. If it can be summarized, I think that orbs are a means by which consciousness can be concentrated and positioned as desired or needed. In many cases the orbs as seen from outside were either a pearly-white color or, as in a NDE I went through in Germany, the orb was perfectly clear with an astonishing crystal city inside of it. In the case of Reptilians who were instigating malicious abduction events I've had situations where a blinding, bright orange orb was positioned directly in front of me, coinciding with the extremely loud siren sound and headache techniques discussed as follows."
I love a good Reptilian story! And no, I'm not being flip, I really do. What's behind all that, I have no idea. Not having experienced anything related to Reptilians, not for me to say. As to the orbs, "my" orb experience involved an intelligently controlled, or, sentient itself, orange orb. No loud sounds however,though, there was missing time, telepathic communications and terrifying dreams, among other happenings.
Whatever one makes of stories like Bakeman's, it's most definitely a UFO-Fortean's kind of story.

Some are adamant about their opinions on this debate: kill, or, no kill. I'm adamant -- I won't budge -- I'm for a No Kill stance and that's that. Some are less adamant; they qualify their opinions depending on the perceived state of intelligence of the creature. The more human like Sasquatch appears to be, the less likely this type of person would attempt to kill one, but, if the creature is perceived to be "ape like," and more ape, less human, the kill policy reigns. Sasquatch is considered, by some, an animal, less than us, and while clearly intelligent, and astounding in its very existence in terms of scientific discovery, it's still "just" an animal. Still less than us, somehow. And that alone gives some the justification they need to support their kill view.I don't care if Sasquatch turns out to be "just a big ape," some kind of uber-bear, or an alien. I don't care if the intelligence of Sasquatch is below that of a pinto bean. The intelligence level of Sasquatch should have nothing to do with killing it. I have major issues with hunting, but I do understand the justification for it in terms of survival; if one needs to feed oneself, then I'd be a hypocrite to say one should not hunt for food. If I were to find myself in certain circumstances, I might have to find I'd have to hunt as well. That aside, killing a Sasquatch is a very different issue.I'll reiterate what I've said so many times before; I don't give a damn if science finds proof of Sasquatch's existence, and certainly not at the expense of a dead body.Maybe this view of mine is based on my personal experiences with the paranormal, anomalous encounters and interests and UFOs: I don't care if anyone believes me or not, and I don't owe anyone an explanation or proof. I accept them as interesting, true, and valuable. True, not necessarily literal.So in some ways it's a non-argument; killing Sasquatch, if the creature is supernatural. Can you kill a fairy? On the other hand, we can't be too sure, and might as well continue the good fight against those who, regardless of where they fall on the kill policy continuum, would support killing one under certain circumstances.

The memo was associated to a story relayed to four FBI from a third party reporting that an Air Force investigator had reported three "flying saucers" were recovered in New Mexico. "They [the saucers] were described as being circular in shape with raised centers, approximately 50 feet in diameter," the memo states. "Each one was occupied by three bodies of human shape but only three feet tall, dressed in metallic cloth of a very fine texture."
