Algunos uflogos llevan dcadas acusndonos a los escpticos de estar pagados por los servicios de inteligencia para ocultar la realidad sobre el fenmeno

titulado "The Central Intelligence Agency and overhead reconnaissance" (La Agencia Central de Inteligencia y el reconocimiento areo. 1992).
Los historiadores militares Gregory W. Pedlow y Donald E. Welzenbach exponen en ese trabajo la gnesis y el desarrollo de los programas de los aviones
espa U-2 y Oxcart, y hunden otro clavo ms en el atad del credo ufolgico "conspiranoico" establecido por Donald Keyhoe en 1950. Hace sesenta
aos, Keyhoe, expiloto de la Marina estadounidense y uno de los primeros uflogos, propuso en su libro "The flying saucers are real" (Los platillos
volantes son reales) que esos objetos que haban empezado a verse en el cielo procedan de otros mundos y que el Gobierno de su pas lo saba y ocultaba a

de la vieta de Andrs Diplotti que ilustra estas lneas: escuchando o leyendo a los uflogos en los medios de comunicacin y dando las gracias por su
inestimable colaboracin.

El estudio recin desclasificado es una historia del rea 51, la base del lago Groom (Nevada) que los uflogos han convertido en el epicentro de la

de Petrozavodsk, visto sobre la ciudad de ese nombre a primera hora del 20 de septiembre de 1977, antes que admitir la existencia del cosmdromo secreto de
Plesetsk y el lanzamiento de satlites espa. En Espaa, el avistamiento ovni ms espectacular, el de Canarias del 5 de marzo de 1979, se debi al
lanzamiento de un misil Poseidn desde un submarino estadounidense en aguas prximas. Aunque esa posibilidad -sin poder precisar si el sumergible era
