Ufo Sighting In Scircleville Indiana On June 30Th 1976 Saw From Underneath Could Not Positively Identify True Shape

I was 16 years old in 1976. Was parking on a gravel road with an old boyfriend listening to rock music. We had our music turned up really loud in those days when all of a sudden we heard a sound that got loud out of the clear blue. The sound drowned out the music that we were listening to. The noise just came out of no where. This area is out in the middle of nowhere. All of a sudden something sounded like it was hovering over the top of our car aprox 20 feet or so. My boyfriend leaned over and looked out of the driver side window. I also leaned over when he did and saw what looked like a big circular object. Although i couldn't make out the color, there were lights all around the underneath. The thing seemed like it knew we were there. It stayed suspended over the car for a few seconds drowning out the music. We were so scared my boyfriend peeled out and away we went. It was definatly NOT a helicopter or anything of that sort. It was there, then all of a sudden just gone. When i got home that night i rushed in and told my parents who didn't believe me. I think they thought i was trying to stay out past my curfew or something. I often wonder if there was a time difference that at the time i may not have noticed. Just didn't here alot about things like that then. We didn't have the classic car not starting and this thing was loud not quiet.I kept this silent for many years until a few years ago. When i do tell people they just laugh and act like i am a kook or something. It has bothered me for many years and just wanted to get this off my chest.
