We are tired of being asked the question: 'Do you believe in UFOs?'
Do we believe in UFOs? No, we don't. Because UFOs aren't a faith, they're a reality. We don't require fervent belief and hope that UFOs exist -- they do. There are photographs, there is film footage, there are physical traces. Unlike the saints of old, UFOs don't need to manifest their likenesses in a piece of toast because they reveal their physical selves to people all the time, every single day.
UFOs are a reality, far more than God who, after all, has yet to appear at or hovering above a shopping mall and pose for a photograph. And if God did pose for a photograph, would the photographer have to run the gamut of disbelief, ridicule, shame and public humiliation that a person who snaps a photograph of a UFO must endure? Hardly, when the face of Jesus in an eggplant receives credible and global media coverage and draws pilgrims from far and wide.
So why must Ufology endure this constant criticism? What status quo does it threaten? Is Science in fact the religion that the New Church of Ufology threatens to topple?
Scientists react to UFOs with the same kind of witch-burning zeal as the Popes of old - and it isn't hard to imagine that the Whitecoats would love to round us up and burn us at the stake for our blaspheming and false idols. All hail the doctrine of evolution. All hail MAN, the greatest pinnacle of biology that any creature on any planet could hope to aspire to!
Or should it be all hail the NEW gods, the DNA-manipulating Greys, the stately perfection of Orthon.
How difficult then is our struggle, fighting against all the old gods of science. Darwin, the Zeus of Evolution, and Sagan, the Ares of our time, zealously guarding the sterile vacuum of space from our irrational imaginations. They rule from on-high, casting their thunderbolts of fear and doubt and confusion upon an unsuspecting world.
How can the tribe fight the gods? More importantly, how can Ufology fight these time-honoured tactics, and win?

LONDON - The men were air traffic controllers. Experienced, calm professionals. Nobody was drinking. But they were so worried about losing their jobs that they demanded their names be kept off the official report.
No one, they knew, would believe their claim an unidentified flying object landed at the airport they were overseeing in the east of England, touched down briefly, then took off again at tremendous speed. Yet that's what they reported happened at 4 p.m. on April 19, 1984.
The incident is one of hundreds of reported sightings contained in more than 1,000 pages of formerly secret UFO documents being released Wednesday by Britain's National Archives. It is one of the few that was never explained.
The air traffic controllers Report of Unusual Aerial Phenomenon' was filed from an unspecified small airport near the eastern coast of England.
The men, each with more than eight years on the job, described how they were helping guide a small plane to a landing on runway 22 when they were distracted by a brightly lit object approaching a different runway without clearance.
'Everyone became aware that the object was unidentified,' their report said. 'SATCO (code name for a controller with 14 years experience) reports that the object came in 'at speed,' made a touch and go on runway 27, then departed at 'terrific speed' in a 'near vertical' climb.'
The incident is one of the more credible in the newly public files because it was reported by air traffic controllers, said David Clarke, a UFO expert who worked with the National Archives on the document release.
'They were absolutely astonished,' he said. 'It was a bright, circular object, flashing different colors, and after it touched down it disappeared at fantastic speed. The report comes from very qualified people, and it's one of the few that remained unexplained.'
But while there are some unexplained cases in the papers, there is no reported instance in which the Ministry of Defense found any evidence of alien activity or alien spacecraft, said Clarke, who nonetheless expects conspiracy theories about a UFO cover-up by the British defense establishment to persist.
'The Ministry of Defense doesn't have any evidence that our defenses were breached by alien craft,' Clarke said. 'They never found one, no bits of one. That's all we can say.'
Clarke said the released documents, dealing with the late 1970s and early 1980s, are the first batch in a series that will be made public in the next few years.
The National Archives is releasing the files because of numerous freedom of information requests seeking information about the government's UFO reports. Officials said that names of many individuals had been blacked out to protect their privacy and that the entire files had been reviewed to make sure their release did not compromise national security.
Ministry of Defense officials indicate in the files that UFO reports were only investigated to make sure no enemy aircraft had illegally entered British airspace. This was crucial during the Cold War when Russian planes posed a threat.
Officials said they did not try to solve UFO riddles once an enemy attack had been ruled out.
The vast majority of UFO reports come from members of the public who see strange things in the sky and jump to the conclusion that a UFO is involved even though there are logical explanations for what they observe, experts said.
'The most common things are aircraft lights, bright stars and planets, satellites, meteors, airships and things like that,' said Nick Pope, another UFO expert who helped the Ministry of Defense investigate the phenomenon.v That was the case when a number of people leaving a Tunbridge Wells pub one night reported seeing a strange craft 'with red and green' lights, according to the released documents.
Asked by police where the object seemed to be traveling, the pub crawlers said it appeared to be heading for London's Gatwick Airport. It didn't take a scientist to figure out it was a commercial plane making a routine approach.v

UFO SIGHTING IN HIGH POINT, NORTH CAROLINA ON AUGUST 17TH 2013 - LIGHT BLUE BALL OF LIGHT THAT FLASHED LIKE A STROBE
Last night we drove home from Western NC. It rained the entire trip. I say this to point out that we drove in the rain for two and a half hours and never saw one flash of lightning nor did we hear a single thunderclap. As we were driving on Skeet Club road we saw a round or ball shaped object flash very brightly over the roadway three times. It was a very soft light blue color and it was right over the roadway about tree top level or, a little less. It appeared to be about fifteen feet across with fuzzy edges, not clearly defined. It flashed very brightly, like the flash from a camera. It flashed two times rapidly, then a second or two went by and it flashed again. The first two times it flashed it was right in front of the car and the last time it flashed it was right over the car. When it flashed the first two times I saw it's shape as being round. But, the edges were not clearly defined. It was just a light blue, very bright flashing object. I didn't see anything unusual before the first flash. What I saw was two very bright flashes and then a blue object that rapidly faded out. Then the third flash that was right over us so, we didn't see anything but the flash due to the roof of the car blocking our possible view of anything that might have been there. If I had time I would have tried to stop the car rather than drive under it but, it all happened very rapidly and I never had time to react. I suppose it could have been lightning and I started not to report it except that as far as I know there was no lightning associated with last night's rain. It was cool all day with a light to moderate rain all day. There is no missing time or any other details to report. Also, it was perfectly silent. We heard no sounds whatsoever.

I called my friend and mom to tell her what was happening but I ran out of battery so I went inside to charge my phone and by the time I went back out the lights were spread out in a half circle and they went in different directions so fast I then was really sure that that was not an aircraft of any kind because I don't think we have anything that can move out that fast in a blink of an eye. I was kinda really freaked out by it when they suddenly took off that I scraped my elbow against the wall. And I don't have any recording of the phenomenon I saw because it was really dark outside and the 5 balls of light wasn't that bright either. The British Government and Crop Circles.By Nick PopeAugust 2009(A candid and revealing new statement by Nick Pope) I'm not sure how I feel about promoting a book, the (lengthy) subtitle of which is displayed on the front page and reads; It's 2009 and it is time to rewrite history. Nick Pope and the MoD attempt to change the official UK crop circle and UFO histories. But they are taken to task through the documented historical evidence from the National Archives!; - but what the hell, Colin Andrews and I are friends. The book stems from an 'official history' I wrote some years ago, detailing the military and the MoD's involvement in the crop circle phenomenon. I wrote the article at a time when I was still working for the MoD and it's no secret that MoD has downplayed its interest and involvement in the crop circle issue, as it has with the UFO phenomenon. This has been the policy for many years and clearly I had to play my part in this when I worked for the government. In this interesting and important new book, Colin Andrews takes me and the MoD to task for this. He has a point and has highlighted fascinating new evidence documenting greater official interest in crop circles than has previously been acknowledged. Some of the issues Colin highlights have arisen because the line between official and private interest (even within government, the military and the intelligence agencies) can be blurred. There are particular sensitivities and political difficulties when members of the Royal Family are involved. Nonetheless, I recommend this book, even though I come across as the bad guy. "It was us," the agency posted on social media, along with a declassified document from the 1990s. It reads: High altitude testing of the U-2 soon led to an unexpected side effect -- a tremendous increase in reports of unidentified flying objects (UFOs). In the mid-1950s, most commercial airliners flew at altitudes between 10,000 and 20,000 feet and military aircraft like the B-47s and B-57s operated at altitudes below 40,000 feet. Consequently, once U-2s started flying at altitudes above 60,000 feet, air-traffic controllers began receiving increasing numbers of UFO reports. Such reports were most prevalent in the early morning hours from pilots of airliners flying from east to west. When the sun dropped below the horizon of an airliner flying at 20,000 feet, the plane was in darkness. But, if a U-2 was airborne in the vicinity of the airliner at the time, its horizon from an altitude of 60,000 feet was considerably more distant, and, being so high in the sky, its silver wings would catch and reflect the rays of the sun and appear to the airliner pilot, 40,000 feet below, to be fiery objects. Even during daylight hours, the silver bodies of the high-flying U-2s could catch the sun and cause reflections or glints that could be seen at lover altitudes and even on the ground. At this time, no one believed manned flight was possible above 60,000 feet, so no one expected to see an object so high in the sky. Not only did the airline pilots report their sightings to air-traffic controllers, but they and ground-based observers also wrote letters to the Air Force unit at Wright Air Development Command in Dayton charged with investigating such phenomena. This, in turn, led to the Air Force's Operation BLUE BOOK. Based at Wright-Patterson, the operation collected all reports of UFO sightings. Air Force investigators then attempted to explain such sightings by linking them to natural phenomena. BLUE BOOK investigators regularly called on the Agency's Project Staff in Washington to check reported UFO sightings against U-2 flight logs. This enabled the investigators to eliminate the majority of the UFO reports, although they could not reveal to the letter writers the true cause of the UFO sightings. U-2 and later OXCART flights accounted for more than one-half of all UFO reports during the 1950s and 1960s. What is not explicitly stated in the report is that the CIA stood to gain from UFO hysteria. The secrecy of the U-2 surveillance program was essential to the Agency, and the report discussed other various "cover stories" that were employed to disguise the program and its purpose. The myth that extraterrestrial spacecraft were visiting earth was a convenient diversion to keep Americans' imaginations running wild -- to the point that it kept the Russians from knowing anything specific about the true capabilities of the United States. Being that one of the CIA's primary functions is psychological operations, it is probable that it helped to perpetuate the myth a little more than they let on. Micah Hawks, of the very excellent Gralien Report blog, has an item on Alien Abduction and Mystic Experience, with a link to Brad Steiger's piece on his My Strangest Alien Abduction Case" on UFO Digest.There are so many aspects to the UFO phenomenon; nuts and bolts, the usual. And the mystical. What to make of those kinds of experiences in connection to UFOs? Some have not seen UFOs in the typical sense, yet have experienced deep mystical/spiritual events that include non-human entities that the individual puts into the UFO category. Like Nahu, for example, author of UFOs: Gods From Inner Space,who I wrote about some time ago in UFO Magazine. He, and his partner, have gone on to experience events like this, including seeing beams of energy, having psychic characteristics, etc. Are some types of extraterrestrials capable of inducing these encounters? Is it something within us that enters into a symbiotic relationship with some of "them?" Are they more earth bound, or inter-dimensional, and not strictly UFO connected? As always, there isn't any one answer to what UFOs are; except to state the obvious, which is that there are many varities of types and experiences. One type does not negate or invalidate the other.

ONE OF THE SMALLEST COUNTRIES IN SOUTH AMERICA, URUGUAY IS ALSO THE PLACE WHERE THE MILITARY ARE MORE OPEN-MINDED TOWARDS THE UFO PHENOMENON. UFO OCCURRENCES ARE INVESTIGATED BY THE URUGUAYAN AIR FORCE (FAU) AS PART OF THEIR ROUTINE ACTIVITIES. HERE IS THE FULL INTERVIEW WITH COLONEL ARIEL SANCHEZ, CHAIRMAN OF THE COMMISSION FOR THE RECEPTION AND INVESTIGATION OF UFO REPORTS (CRIDOVNI)
INTRODUCTION
Few people know that a small country in South America has an official office for flying saucer research as part of its Air Force. The office is continuously operating since 1979 when it was established by the president of theRepublic himself. That's right: it has been more than three decades since the Committee for the Reception and Investigation of UFO Reports (Cridovni) operates in Uruguay. Only three other similar institutions are known in the continent. These are the Center for the Study of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (CEFAA), established in Chile in 1997 and working within the country's General Civil Aviation Office; the Office for the Investigation of Anomalous Aerial Phenomena (OIFAA), in the Peruvian Air Force (FAP); and an Argentine committee created last year but still under development.
All of the examples above are generally ignored by the worldwide UFO community. Those nations have official bodies openly exploring the possible extraterrestrial origin of UFOs. The same has happened in Brazil in the 50s and the 60s, and something similar in the 70s. To uncover these initiatives and to try to make Brazilian authorities engage again in official investigations of the UFO Phenomena was some of thepurposes of the campaign "UFOs: Freedom of Information Now", released in 2004 by the Brazilian Committee of UFO Researchers (CBU). Its goals were the declassification of official UFO files - already achieved - as well as establishing an official body for UFO investigation in the country. Although Brazil had openly acknowledged the issue and released documents dated from 1950 to 2010, the country still misses an institution like Cridovni, CEFAA or OIFAA. In fact, it was promised back in May 2005 by Brigadier Luis Carlos da Silva Bueno, former Brazilian Air Force (FAB) commander. We still wait for the fulfillment of that promise.
A SKILLFUL RESEARCHER
In 2010 I was in Montevideo to make a presentation on the Brazilian process of UFO disclosure. I took that opportunity to better understand the work of an official UFO research institution, since they include civilians in their ranks. That time I interviewed the chair of Cridovni, a FAU officer who is also an ufologist and a gifted speaker. He was many times in Brazil presenting the works of the body he runs - yes, he is also a common presence in international conferences.
The opportunity of interviewing Coronel Ariel Sanchez at the headquarters of his Committee at the Boiso Lanza Air Base, 30km from Montevideo, was a great one. We had a long talk just like the ones I had with other military in Brazil and abroad, a kind of talk which is significant to increase transparency on UFO issues. The interview was actually a three-hour friendly chat followed by a lunch in the air base and a tour around its facilities. "We keep no secrets and it is a pleasure to show UFO Magazine everything we do", said Sanchez on the way to his country's air traffic control center - also located at Boiso Lanza.
Ariel Sanchez has been international correspondent of the Brazilian UFO Magazine for over a decadeand holds a reputable background in UFO experiences. His post as the chair of the Uruguayan Committee makes him a unique person. "Our files contain any kind of UFO cases you would see in the X-Files", he says. It is very much true as you will see below. He and his team - including Lt. Daniel Silveira, also a consultant to UFO Magazine -, are like Mulders and Scullys, as thorough researchers as those could be. It was interestingseeing how Cridovni works. Its members are professional ufologists, since they are paid by FAU. In fact, they are regular Air Force staff dedicating part of their time to UFO research and standing by for any call. When reported any occurrence they go after it in uniforms and official vehicles. They interview witnesses, collect samples, gather data, and then start a thorough investigation following strict methodological standards. Uruguay is a model to be reproduced by every country in her continent.
Another good example to be taken is their I International Congress on Investigation of Aerospace and Terrestrial Phenomena, organized by Cridovni, in Montevideo, in November 2010. That was the first Ufological event in the world known to be supported by a military branch - the Air Force in this case. The audience was filled with military garments. There is yet another thing: in order to extend the outreach within its little country, Cridovni established a civilian section - the Regional Center for Investigation of Aerospace and Terrestrial Phenomena (Crifat) is operating for 10 years now. "We still got no answers regarding the UFO phenomenon, what these vehicles and their origin are, but we keep on researching with the utmost disposition", says Sanchez before adding, "As men at the service of Uruguay we must be impartial. We don't encourage or discourage any particular point of view".
AN OPEN MIND TOWARDS NEW IDEAS
Regarding the Congress held in Montevideo, Coronel Ariel Sanchez says "I wanted it to be as open as possible". The event attracted big names of South-American Ufology. Although Cridovni adopts a scientific approach towards the UFO phenomenon, its members keep an open mind and agree to discuss Ufology with representatives of many other lines of interpretation. Sanchez confirms they have received over 2200 reports so far including photos and videos that reach the office everyday through letters, e-mails and phone calls. "However, we still haven't found any evidence of direct contacts with ETs".
Also an air traffic controller, Sanchez narrates intriguing cases in his country. Some of which involve military and civilian aircraft in events that endangered flight security. "We had to report the facts immediately to the Air Force commander who contacted the Defense minister who, in turn, contacted the President", he says regarding a case involving a Lufthansa aircraft in 2007. Coronel Sanchez reveals that Cridovni works in partnership with civilian research groups and official institutions in other countries. In summary, he tells of how an official UFO research institution should be - just in case other military abroad need an example. Below we share his interview.
Uruguay has a unique approach towards UFO research by officially responding to occurrences as soon as possible and applying a military methodology to it. We could call you the real "X-Files". Tell us, Coronel Sanchez, how does it feel to be an "official ufologist," a person to whom Ufology is also a military mission?
Despite the responsibilities as representatives of the Uruguayan Air Force (FAU) we have a normal life. We are the State of Uruguay when issuing reports on our findings. The Committee must adopt a certain approach towards witnesses and media. Most of all, we must be impartial and objective when handling the UFO issue. This is meant to not encourage or discourage investigations. Also, we release information collected in the field in the most serious manner. As representatives of FAU we should not rush into conclusive reports when more investigation is needed. We must be unbiased in our work and this is not meant to withhold information. Instead, this is in order to better inform the people as they deserve our respect.
THE FULL LENGTH INTERVIEW:
AJ: It seems your father was the military who started Cridovni in 1979. For how long have you been involved in the Committee? Did you want to follow his example?
CAS: Not really. It has been 20 years since I first joined the Committee as a first lieutenant. I was invited by Coronel Freddy Prieto, the then chair of the Committee. He thought I was well suited for this kind of activity and made me a secretary in the institution. In other words, I started by taking care of the files. I had to read them one by one and learn many cases by heart so that I could work on the investigations and address the media on certain issues. As a member of an official institution involved with the UFO phenomenon, one must know it well in order to explain investigated cases without making mistakes. I've been the chair of the Committee for four years now, and it makes 32 years of continuous work since its establishment in 1979.
AJ: What do you believe to be the greatest strength of Cridovni besides its investigation and findings?
CAS: I should say that the most important thing we have is our human resources. Yes, the human assets of the institution which are our researchers and analysts. This is our greatest strength, even greater than the technology or facilities we employ in our activities. The most important thing in this Committee is its personnel. They have the technical skills needed to provide FAU and our Government with consistent information on UFO occurrences.
AJ: How many cases has Cridovni investigated before you joined? How many after?
CAS: The Committee has now more than 2200 sighting reports collected over the last 30 years. Around 1250 of them were investigated. It means that a report not always leads to an investigation, since it may contain little information on which we could proceed. In that case we register the facts, what was seen, when that happened, what time that was, etc, but stop it there due to the lack of data. However, when a good report reaches the Committee, one that has witnesses or credible evidence, then we open an investigation into what would be regarded as a "UFO case".
HIGH "LEVEL OF STRANGENESS"
AJ: How is Cridovni's investigative approach? Would it be similar to the methods of civilian ufologists?
CAS: Yes. Due to the lack of detailed information on some occurrences we could investigate just around 50% of a total 2200 reports. Among the 1250 investigations, we found that 40 should be classified as UFO cases - these are the ones that could not be solved, the ones that gave no scientific explanation about the nature of an object. Those were unconventional events to which our air and space knowledge have no explanation so far. They are very strange and peculiar. They come in a high Level of Strangeness which doesn't
allow us to any conclusion. It is a considerable number of confirmed occurrences and it is slightly higher than world average because Cridovni applies more rigorous standards which civilian ufology does not apply.
AJ: When you say "Level of Strangeness" I believe you employ J. A. Hynek's standards for close encounters, right?
CAS: His classification was the system we initially employed in our work. However, that system was improved so that we could apply it to our needs. As you may know, Hynek says that a series of factors can increase the "Level of Strangeness" and also the "level of credibility" of witnesses. When that all amount to a high level we could think of an UFO occurrence.
AJ: Among those 40 cases with a high Level of Strangeness which one caught your attention the most? Could you describe it?
CAS: The most shocking events involved Uruguayan aircraft pursuing a UFO. It occurred mainly in 1986. Two military aircraft tried to intercept a UFO which entered Uruguayan airspace without authorization. I believe the Official UFO Night in Brazil occurred in the same year and month (19 May 1986).
AJ: Do you believe this UFO pursuit in Uruguay was part of the same phenomenon seen in Brazil? (When more than 20 round-shaped UFOs of around 100m in diameter jammed radars of several capitals in South-Eastern Brazil)
CAS: I would have to check the dates in our files, but it is possible. It was around 20h30 when those two fighters I've mentioned tried to approach an object maneuvering over a dam. They tried twice to reach the UFO. They didn't succeed because the object managed to escape maneuvering at great speed which our aircraft could not follow.
AJ: What were the procedures adopted in the investigation of this case?
CAS: We collected all the flight data such as the type of our aircraft, duration and speed of their flight, etc, then we had a thorough interview with the pilots. They were four pilots aboard two Argentine-made FMA IA 58 Pucara - a two-turboprop-engined aircraft for fast combat. (Pucara means fortress in Quechua language. This aircraft was often used during the war over the Falklands). The Pucara reached a 400 to 500/h speed but the UFO was much faster. We estimate it to be at around 1.000 km/h. That was double our speed if not more.
AJ: Besides the incredible speed did the UFO display any other signals of a possible extraordinary origin?
CAS: Yes. A peculiar thing was seeing the object changing colors while increasing its acceleration. It went from yellow to orange then turned red. It moved away at an enormous speed until it disappeared from our sight. In a second attempt to intercept it, the object did the same thing: when the Pucara got closer, the UFO vanished at an incredible speed towards the West. Without much they could do the pilots simply quit the pursuit and returned to the base.

UFO SIGHTING IN NEW YORK, NEW YORK ON DECEMBER 11TH 2013 - {RJL} TWO CIRCULAR STATIONARY OBJECTS IN SKY. ONE WITH ROTATING COLORS ONE SOLID BLACK
My wife and I noticed this last night, December 11th 2013 over Encinitas CA. it was around 8pm as we were walking to dinner. We first noticed the object because we were trying to find stars to look at. My first instinct was this is a normal commercial jetliner. After about ten seconds that quickly changed and I grabbed my camera phone. The object was entirely stationary for at least twenty minutes. We stood there for about ten looking at it and spent another ten walking to dinner. The object was still in the sky before we walked into the restaurant, although I cant confirm if it moved or not since my field of view changed so much from walking. The object appeared circular and had three roaring lights that were moving rather quickly. The lights were magenta and a light green and occasionally transitioned into adding a yellow light into the rotating motion. The even crazier part was about 10 degrees away was a solid dark black circular object. I first brushed this off as a weather balloon or hot air balloon but it was pitch black out and didnt over at all. Furthermore the apparent distant between the two objects didnt seem to change either. Unfortunately I couldnt get the black object on video. My wife was very scared and contemplative directly after. She wanted to get out of the area immediately. I was reassuring here that there is a logic answer to what we saw. But Im not sure if there is at this point. Ive never seen anything close to what we saw.

Full Description of event/sighting: Whilst driving to visit my cousin along some back roads I saw in the sky what I can describe as 7 flames. I stopped the car and watched them move across from left to right rising up in to the sky. They were moving fast, when suddenly one dropped quickly, as if coming to land. I though at first it appeared to be a parachute as it just dropped suddenly. However when it got near to the ground all 7 objects just disappeared! I can't tell whether the objects zoomed off at exceptional speeds or just faded away.

By William Hamilton III In 1976, urged by my good friend John Maxfield, we searched for a man named Brian Scott who claimed he had been abducted six times. This was an amazing claim in that year and we were glad when we finally located Brian through writer Jim Frazier. On his 16th birthday he saw a glowing orange ball of light come down from the sky to within a foot of where he stood, then it darted skyward, leaving the youthful Brian dumbfounded. The ball of light returned on many occasions, and on one particular night it came into his house and passed in front of a dresser mirror. Its reflection could not be seen in the mirror. Brian grabbed a broom and tried to bat the ball out of the house. Brian's first encounter with alien entities took place on the night of March 14, 1971 near Apache Junction, Arizona. Apache Junction is located near the haunting Superstition Mountains. Brian lost two hours of time the night of the first encounter. As we studied Brian and the remarkable automatic writings and drawings he executed while in a state of trance, we were drawn into his circle more and more as if under the influence of a growing vortex. In December of 1976, Brian and Jim Frazier set off for Peru and Bolivia. Brian was instructed by the mysterious being, Voltar, to go to Tiahuanaco and the Marcahuasi Plateau and stand inside the Portal del Sol, the Gate of the Sun. Marcahuasi is a unique mountain top, geologically unlike any of the surrounding Andes, located 80KM north east of Lima, Peru. Brian found he could not comply with the request made by Voltar because the Gate of the Sun was encircled by a fence and posted with a guard to preserve this ancient monument from prying hands. Brian was told that if he reached out with his hands and touched the ancient stone blocks, he would make contact with Voltar, mind-to-mind, and be able to perceive the ancient past of Tiahuanaco. Brian did this, only standing in the portal to the ruins of the Temple of Kalasasaya. He allegedly passed on to a higher state of mind and underwent a transformation from Brian to Brian-Voltar for a period of weeks. My job as a fledgling MUFON field investigator was to gather the facts and interview witnesses and make reports all with an objective frame of mind. Unfortunately, this ideal situation just doesn't exist and one becomes entangled like a quantum particle with the phenomena one is investigating. When a group of us went to LAX to meet Brian and Jim at the end of December and welcome them back home, I was unprepared for subsequent events. When Brian-as-Voltar came through customs, the inspector asked him if he was high and the overshadowing personality of Voltar now speaking through Brian in what appeared to be a normal state and not in trance replied that he was high on love. This did not sit well with the inspector and he asked further where Brian was from and when the reply came that he was from Epsilon Eridani, the inspector was baffled and asked if that was anywhere near Pasadena, California! It was hilarious. When we sat down to have coffee, Brian, who was an inveterate smoker, never touched a cigarette and talked about eating flowers. It was as if one person went to Bolivia and another one returned in his place wearing the same body. Voltar as Brian would look around and remark on something he could see happening on the other side of a wall which is something we could not do. As my friend John Maxfield drove me back to Los Angeles on the San Diego freeway and we passed Santa Monica Bay I noticed a large object hovering in the clouds above the bay that had an orange glow outlining its bulk. I asked John to exit the freeway at the next turnoff so I might get a better look at it with my binoculars. John drove us off the freeway to a residential side street where he parked. I got out of the car fast as I was afraid the mysterious object would fly away. I looked carefully at the object through my binoculars and determined that it was cylindrical in shape. As I peered through the magnifying lenses, a bright red light similar to a red laser seemed to emanate from the side of this object and enter my glasses and triggered something in my brain as if a "door opened". I put down the binoculars and told John that we should get back in the car and drive to our usual hangout, Denny's coffee shop remarking that Hector would be there. By the time we got there it was around 2 am. As we sat around a booth, Hector walked through the front door and joined us to talk. I had been saying some strange things since seeing the light, and I had everyone's attention. John wondered where I was getting this information from, and I could not tell him with any certainty. As the days of January passed, and we had at least two encounters with strange men, and as we progressed in the study of the strange drawings that Jim Frazier gave us, we divined one revelation after another, and my mental processing seemed to accelerate so that I was soon doing high speed calculations in competition with electronic calculators, and able to read whole phrases written in latin or greek. The efficiency of my mental processing, the frequency of synchronicities that occurred, and the paranormal experiences all started to accelerate until I, myself, went into a catatonic state and later into a period of 8 days where I had full dimensional visions of the cosmos from the beginning of our universe (or one of its beginnings) to the present day and far into the future. I spent a total of 22 days in this accelerated altered state of mind that literally changed my life and had an impact on my family and friends. The recounting of all the details of this experience that happened in early 1977 would require a book which I once attempted to write and may one day. Suffice to say that I learned the visions of the future to be partly symbolic and a few of these have come to pass and convinced me that these visions were not just hallucinations with no basis in reality. One of the visions involved the drying up of oil from just beneath the surface of the earth as our demands increased resulting in more earthquake activity because I could see the oil acting as a lubricant. There is more to come, and I saw the days get darker, much darker filling with clouds and destruction. Then, there was an abrupt transition, and a new day dawned on earth. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, people were smiling, and communicating non-verbally as well as verbally. Will this all come to pass? If so, when? These are questions I cannot answer even to this day. By Sam Wheeler TALENT - With electromagnetic field readers blinking and infrared cameras surveilling every upstairs room, there was only one thing left to do - kill the lights and call the spirits.
Members of the ghost-hunting Oregon Paranormal Society of Medford came out in full force Thursday night to investigate why the 120-year-old home of Talent founder Aaron P. Talent is haunting its current occupants.
The family, who does not want to be identified, says it has tried driving off the shadowy souls lingering in their rooms by burning sage and having a local reverend bless the house with holy water, but nothing has helped.
"When my 5-year-old daughter woke up and saw the little girl sitting next to her bed twirling her hair, I said, 'Enough is enough,'" says the mother, who has been renting the home in the 100 block of South Front Street since February.
The mother of two says she hasn't personally encountered the spirits, but strange occurrences - most recently, their pet snake disappearing from its locked cage in an upstairs room - and her children's sightings have her convinced that the home is haunted.
"I can deal with it, but if they don't leave my children alone we will move," says the mom. "It's a beautiful home and you'd love to live here if you didn't have to be tortured by these spirits every day."
The woman says she's had similar sensations at some of her past residences, but nothing close to this."I'm scared," says her 10-year-old son. "I like seeing this stuff in the movies, but not here."
At least three spirits reside in the house, the mother believes: an older man, a young girl and at least one other child. After months of her smoke alarm mysteriously going off at the same time every morning, her caged birds wildly chirping during the middle of the night for no reason and the family cat hypnotically staring into the same corner, she decided to call the Oregon Paranormal Society team.
Scott Triem, 42, of Medford founded OPS in 2009, and the group has gone on to investigate dozens of sites around Southern Oregon, he says.
Triem's team didn't have a significant personal encounter with any spirits at the Talent home that night, but hours of audio and video recordings still have to be reviewed before the investigation is complete.
Voices and objects that humans can't detect naturally often are realized while reviewing video and audio recordings from investigations, he says.
OPS member Pam Lindgren, 49, referred to as a "sensitive" by her colleagues for her ability to detect the presence of spirits without the help of recording equipment, says the house is haunted without a doubt.
"I definitely feel a presence... you're being watched," Lindgren told the family Thursday. "I don't feel maliciousness, but I wouldn't sleep in this room."
Even if the night's footage and audio recordings don't reveal a glimpse of any spirits, the team agrees that the house is haunted.
"It's heavy in there," Triem says.
Tina Sanchez, 41, of Medford, the team's research leader, says a young girl decades ago drowned in Wagner Creek near the home. It could be her spirit lurking in the rooms, but it's hard to tell, she says.
According to historical records, Aaron P. Talent built the home in 1886, about 10 years after settling in Southern Oregon. Originally a carpenter, Talent had opened a successful grocery store between Ashland and Phoenix in 1881. Two years later he established a post office inside the store, which made possible the incorporation of Talent in 1910.
Talent and his wife, Martha, raised nine children in the Front Street home, records show. Six of those children made the trip from Tennessee to the Rogue Valley with their parents, and three were born here.It's possible, OPS team members say, that any of the Talent family or subsequent occupants could be haunting the place.
Talent sold the home to Mary Packard sometime before 1896, the year she sold the property to George A. Briner, records show. By 1902, Talent and his wife had moved to Medford and the Front Street home had been sold again, this time to Van A. Dunlap, who went on to become the city of Talent's first mayor.
Dunlap's daughter Bertha, following the death of her parents, sold the home in 1922 to Susan and Thomas Clayton, who owned it until 1945. Ownership was then transferred to F.O. Clayton, records show.
Reviewing all of the recordings from the investigation could take weeks, says Sanchez. She expects OPS will conduct a follow-up investigation once the review is complete.
Sanchez says she doesn't know whether any of the former owners died in the home, but she assumes someone has.
However, "we're not qualified to rid a home (of a ghost)... our only intention is to investigate and find out if our clients' home is haunted... and hopefully find out why they (spirits) are using the home," Sanchez says."It's possible to make peace with them."
As for the family, the mother says, "we'll just have to wait and see what happens, but we can't do this very much longer."

UFO SIGHTING IN DANDRIDGE, TENNESSEE ON SEPTEMBER 21ST 2012 - IT WAS CHROME IN COLOR. TRAVLING FASTER THEN THE AIRPLANE WITHIN 1000 FEET OF IT
I was on my deck grilling dinner near dusk and I could hear an airplane so I turned and looked up and the sky was a beautiful blue color with pink clouds and pink after trails from multiple planeswhen I noticed that there was something following a plane and closing in it I took out my iPhone and started to video it for about 1 minute till I lost sight of it.. It was chrome in color saturn looking about the size of one wing. I'd say it was within 1000 below of the plane aproximenttly on the same path going faster then the plane. It traveled under the plane and past it with no path change from either one I video'ed this object till the house next door blocked my view.. It was awesome

UFO SIGHTING IN ATLANTA, GEORGIA ON JULY 24TH 2013 - HOVERING OBJECT IN SKY OVER DOWNTOWN ATLANTA. OBJECT WAS ABOUT 20FEET WIDE.

An examination of the origins of the mysterious UFO's known as Black Triangles.
Even though UFO's sightings have been seen throughout human history, the descriptions have more commonly been reported as "balls of fire" or classic saucer-shape UFO's, and even long, huge, cigar-shape. But some of the others have been unique and even more intriguing in design as in "box-shape" or "diamond-shape" UFO's and Black Triangles. A wave of triangle-shape UFO's erupted in the 1980's and eyewitnesses have seen even bigger, ominous triangles, silently hovering in night skies over America's residential areas. People encountering these "triangle" UFO's have been reported by local policemen, citizens, and tracked by commercial and military radar. No one seems able to explain what these really are?
An example of this happened in Belgian on November in 1989. Fully documented by the military and police officers, a huge object was seen flying at low altitude, causing sheer panic and fear. The military ordered two F-16's to intercept and identify the UFO. The pilot's radar had a lock on the mysterious craft and they could make out a "cone-diamond" shape craft. The strange object accelerated, quickly moved out of radar contact, but as the chase continued, the UFO was picked up again on the two jet's radar scanner. The pilots could not catch it and the UFO seemed to be playing with them, and soon the UFO disappeared into the night. Returning to the ground the pilots reported the triangle UFO had made exercises at speeds that were impossible, flying in 5 seconds from 10,000 to 500 feet, and that no known technology could do what this UFO did.
Black Triangles have also been reported as large, silent, low-flying objects. As far back as 1982 the US military and Lockheed Martin began working on another top-secret program: The Stealth Blimp. Described as a huge triangle shape vessel that was capable of carrying large and heavy payloads for military troop movement. Built similar to the Stealth bomber it utilized stealth technology, could fly at high altitudes, and it's dark-coated skin made it nearly impossible to see in the night sky. Some Ufologist hypothesis that many triangle UFO's are actually experimental military blimps running silently. The USAF denies any such blimp in operation.
But unusual reports beginning in the 1990's coming out of the South-West of America stated that a triangular shape, quiet-moving object, as big as a football field or about 360 feet long was hovering over several cities. Government insiders claim the military could have developed secretly a triangle-shape blimp of vast size for transport purposes. But sightings of this super-size black triangle has been reported to hover and suddenly fly at incredible speeds away virtually undetectable.
Dramatically, reports of these triangles accelerated in the 1990's and ranged from enormous to small, low-flying, slow-moving, occasionally fast-moving, hovering, boomerang-shape or triangle-shape, over highways and cities. These sightings are not exclusive the United States but are reported all over the world. The most shockingly aspect about this phenomena is that it's seen by so many people in plain view.
The SR-71 Blackbird, the once highly classified military spy plane was being retired in 1989. The F-117 Nighthawk Stealth fighter was not the replacement, instead a new Black Ops program called "Aurora" was developing a top-secret plane that could exceed the speeds and capabilities of the SR-71. By the early 1990's a series of new tactical reconnaissance craft have allegedly been built and made operational. The Aurora Program falls under direct control of the US military, CIA, and NSA. Speculation centers around the triangle-shape TR-2B and TR-3B, nuclear powered, and so exotic looking as to be misidentified as alien technology.
With Code names like the Black Manta TR-2B and the Astra TR-3B, these hypersonic craft can fly in the upper atmosphere beyond Mach 8. The USAF denies the Aurora Program's existence and such craft as fiction. Black Triangle UFO reports of a very similar vehicle to Aurora were seen in the Ashbourne area of Derbyshire in 1993. All accounts state the strange craft was large, made no sound, and flying over heavily populated areas. These triangles have mainly appeared over Europe, Russia, China, Great Britain, and cities in the United States. Worldwide eyewitnesses claim the triangular craft are always silent, hovering, cruising slowly at low altitudes, have bright white lights, red, and green. Pulsing lights on the corner or bottom of the triangles.
The Phoenix, Arizona lights case in 1997 is fully documented by photographs and videos taken by numerous eyewitnesses. Known today as the "Phoenix Lights" case is a hot topic even today with it's huge "V" shape formation of lights. Over the next ten years sightings of a this "V" shaped mother-ship have been observed with having lights in a crescent-shape. From Tucson to Idaho witnesses described a silent, almost motionless, dark triangular craft filling the night sky covering hundreds of feet across.
The US military has no answers forthcoming about any Black Triangles, Stealth Blimps or the Aurora Program. USAF in 2003 did suddenly reveal it had been working on a hypersonic unmanned craft called the Falcon. The Air Force retired the F-117 Stealth fighter in April 2008 for a more effective stealth plane called the F-22 Raptor. Speculation is still rampant on the possible existence of the Astra TR-B3 and the Black Manta hypersonic craft that might have been used in the Gulf War of the early 1990's.
Observers say these Black Triangles can move vertically and horizontally with ease. Using technology more advance than were suppose to have. Retired trained military pilots have spoken out that they themselves have witnesses these triangle UFO's in the skies and recognize that the triangular objects match no known aircraft that they are aware of. The Black Triangles can maneuvers so otherworldly as to be practically alien in origin. UFO's are real and some are clearly manmade flying objects. But the fact also remains that UFO's have been out-flying our jets for years and that the Air Force has been trying to catch up.

UFO SIGHTING IN MESA, ARIZONA ON JUNE 23RD 2013 - VERY BRIGHT BALL OF LIGHT TRAVELING AT A HIGH SPEED, NO BLINKING LIGHTS LIKE AIRPLANES IN THE AREA ABOUT THE SAME ELEVATION.
My girlfriend and I were outside by our pool and noticed this bright ball of light that seem to be traveling at a high rate of speed. We noticed that it was a continuous light. There were airplanes at roughly the same elevation that had their blinking red lights on, this had no blinking lights. It flew very fast from a South West direction in a straight line to the North East. When it flew overhead, there was no jet sound like most make when they pass. I have never witnessed a "UFO" before. All I know is the characteristics where not the same as jets that fly over at night. It had a high altitude, it did not pulsate or move abruptly in any direction, it stayed on a very straight continuous flight path until we could not see it any longer when it went behind some clouds by the moon. We tried to take video with our cell phone, however it was at such a high altitude at night, it did not show up. I would not report this if I thought it was an airplane or jet.

UFO EVIDENCE - Unidentified flying objects (UFO) may appear in 2011 or 2012, a Chinese astronomer has predicted.
Wang Sichao, an astronomy and minor planet scholar, made the forecast under recently-heated speculations about UFOs, as some unidentified flying objects have been spotted in several Chinese regions of Zhejiang, Hunan, Chongqing and Xinjiang since last month, the China Daily reported.
A UFO spotted in Zhejiang's provincial capital of Hangzhou disrupted air traffic over east China for an hour in early July. Some media reports said the UFO might have been a private aircraft, because of the increasing number of privately owned aircraft.
As for what British cosmological physicist Stephen Hawking claimed about aliens in April this year, saying "an alien encounter could have bad consequences for humans and earth had better watch out", Wang called it too early to make a conclusion.
Wang also urged scientists to design and create more advanced and agile telescopes in order to observe the unidentified flying objects that usually turn up on occasion, often for only seconds at a time, the report said.
