UFO CRASHES IN BRITAIN

The evidence for UFO sightings, and landings, in the UK is widespread, numerous and often compelling. But when it comes to UFO crashes, I find that most people simply shake their heads. "You mean Roswell," they say. But I don't mean Roswell. I mean UFO crashes in Britain.
Now, I would be the first to admit that the evidence pointing to the fact that any UFO had ever actually come down in Britain is nowhere near as impressive as that for UFO sightings or voluntarily landings, but that does not mean that it does not exist.
Take, for instance, the events at Conisholme, Lincolnshire, in January 2009. In the winter's evening several locals reported seeing two orange-red spheres flying over this small village some miles northeast of Louth. The objects were trailing what appeared to be yellowish arms or threads behind them. Suddenly there came the most almighty bang, followed by a vicious whirling noise. Before long police were on the scene, cordoning off access to the nearby wind farm. Something had hit one of the enormous wind turbines, smashing one 65-foot long blade and mangling a second. Whatever had hit the turbine had not only done some impressive damage, it had also left behind a small quantity of lightweight material.
Opinions differ as to what had happened. The company that runs the windfarm, Ecotricity, refused to speculate. They merely confirmed that a turbine had been damaged and was being repaired. Some locals thought that a stealth aircraft from one of the nearby air bases had been to blame. Others said they knew what a stealth aircraft looked like at night - or rather what its jet engines looked like - and that the orange balls had not been that. They blamed a UFO.
Even if the wind turbine at Conisholme had been destroyed by a collision with a UFO, I am not sure that this truly counts as a UFO crash. Nobody reported the object having actually impacted the earth at all.
Other events reported in the press as being a "UFO Crash" turn out to be more or less routine sightings dressed up to make the headline more exciting. On 26 January 2009, for instance, a woman walking her dog along Baytree Road in Clevedon, Somerset, saw a cigar- or rocket- shaped UFO plummet to the ground accompanied by a shrieking or howling noise. The object came down in the playing fields of a school, rested there for a while, then the noise restarted and the object took off at high speed heading west. Dramatic stuff, but quite clearly the object did not crash - as the newspaper headlines next day had it - but had landed and then taken off again.
Rather better known is the Berwyn Mountain Incident of 1974. On the evening of 23 January several people in northern Wales and adjacent areas of England reported seeing green lights in the sky. The lights were reported to be spherical or saucer shaped and to be moving erratically in odd patterns and formations. Then, at 8.38pm, residents around the Berwyn Mountain in Wales heard a deafening rumbling explosion and the ground shook. People came out into the streets. One man said he had seen lights over the mountain just before the crash and speculated that an aircraft had crashed. Phone calls were put through to the emergency services. While waiting for more help to arrive, the local policeman rounded up a nurse and went up on to the mountain to see if they could help.
Not long afterwards a convoy of army trucks arrived, the men cordoned off the mountain and refused admittance to anyone. The policeman and nurse came back down under army escort. They said that they had seen lights and debris as if from a crash, but had been instructed to leave. The nurse would later say that she had got close to the crash and seen bodies that did not seem to be human.
The official explanation for the events at Berwyn are that an unusually large meteor hurtled across the sky at the same time that an earthquake struck Berwyn. Some geologists have speculated that the lights were the rare, and largely unexplained phenomenon, of earthquake lights which are sometimes reported in the air just before earthquakes strike. Others remain convinced that it was a UFO that crashed at Berwyn, though very little of the craft seems to have survived the impact.

Archaeologist Cameron Smith took to the stage at TEDx Brussels 2014 to describe his contribution towards the mission to colonise space.

The attempt to settle space is not a fantasy, it's an inevitability, according to explorer and archaeologist, Cameron Smith. However if we're going to achieve it then we need to make a major shift in our thinking, away from individual space explorers and towards diverse communities of space pioneers. During his recent TEDx Brussels talk, he explained how we also need to 'rethink, reimagine and rebuild' the technologies needed to get and maintain us there: essentially, it needs to be much easier and cheaper to access space.
You might not expect an archaeologist to take to the TEDx stage with a talk on space suits but Smith's experience of exploring the past has fired his interest in space exploration: 'When you spend your time looking at the remains of ancient civilisations what you see is that civilisations fail. We have about a 99 % failure rate for civilisations. And one way to preserve our civilisation is to make our species multi-planetary.'
It may sound like the plot of an epic sci-fi adventure but this challenge is very much on the radar of the scientific community. As far back as 1567, Francis Godwin said that it was inevitable that humanity would try to colonise space. Leading thinkers of today like Stephen Hawking are also backing the idea. The problem, Smith says, is that our energy and resources are focused on sending a select few individuals to space, when we need to be thinking in terms of large communities.
'We've been in the mode of a tightly constrained set of individual people popping up into space and popping back,' Smith said. 'If we want to do space colonisation, we need people of all varieties. That requires a major shift in our thinking, away from individuals and towards communities and cultural groups. This requires an anthropology of space colonisation.'
Another thing that we're going to need, according to Smith, is cheaper technology, and that's where Smith and his group, Pacific Space Flight, come in. At the moment, a launch entry NASA/ACES suit costs about 88 000 to 100 000. Smith believes this can be replaced by a 2 000 suit, opening up the possibilities for space travel en masse: 'We've built a suit inside my home, which is my workshop... All of the NASA performance criteria for a launch entry suit are being met - it keeps the body cool, maintains the pressure, gives the wearer mobility at high pressure, now even at lunar pressure.'
Pacific Space Flight has collaborated with private space programme Copenhagen Suborbitals who build their own spacecraft. Smith's team were able to test their suits in the capsule and seat of the Danish programme. Testing is ongoing in a wide range of other conditions and environments: 'I've spent about 100 hours in the suit, part of that has been underwater weighted to a chair. I sat there and we looked for leaks. Our suit has a lower leak rate than Gemini suits from the 1960s.' The suit has also been tested in cold chambers and altitude chambers where it maintained a healthy blood oxygen level. It has also trekked across the Simpson Desert in Australia. One of the next steps is high altitude ballooning expeditions.
Smith says his processes replicate those of NASA in the 1960s - only without the big budget.
Like most pioneers, Smith and his team are learning more through their failures than their successes: 'Most of the money - which is very little - that I've spent has been in finding out how not to do it.' He concluded his talk with a promise to the TEDx Brussels crowd, 'Now I know how not to do it the next generation garment will be a third of the weight and a third of the bulk.'

Was on my way to work and driving on interstate 55 heading south around Springfield Illinois the sun was coming up from the east it was around 6:45am and south of me it was getting ready for bad weather it was black and lightning. I noticed where the sun was coming up from the east and where the storm was to the south that there was a stright line that divided the sun coming up and the storm I thought that was cool so I picked my phone up to snap a picture of the line that divided the sun light and the storm and out of nowhere this long bright rod came shooting across the sky looked to be following the curve of the earth I instantly took my phone in front of me and was able to catch the object on my phone it was only a matter of seconds and it was gone.believe it or not I guess I was lucky if you look at the bottom of the picture you will see where I also got a picture of one of the interstate signs in my picture showed my picture to a lot of people over the years half of everyone says im crazy you know what I tell them lol..well you know we don't have to worry about aliens visiting us on the planet anymore. MUFON witness report: 11/27/09 - Traverse City, Michigan - I went to town to see the lighting of the Christmas tree on November 27th, 2009. I got a new 2.8 lens and wanted to take some photos in a low light setting. I shot about 100 photos that evening from about 5:00 p.m. to around 8:00 p.m. The next day when I was uploading them to my computer I noticed some lights in the sky of one of them. When I zoomed in I saw a shape with the lights that interested me, and that I didn't know what it was. I began to look through my other photos and I found similar lights and shapes in 2 other photos. All 3 photos with the lights and shapes in question in the sky were while I was standing on front street facing west. I had taken 4 photos that evening from that same area, facing west, and those same lights are in 3 of them. (I did not find these lights, or anything like them in any of my other photos I took any place else that night.) Of the 4 I took facing west, the photo they were not in was the first one I took, about 5:00 p.m. The first two where they were was taken about 5:40 p.m. by the clock in one of the photos. The third one that the lights were in was taken about 6:00- 6:15 p.m. I really know nothing more about these. I took them to TV 7/4 to see if anyone there was interested and Mark Shelette contacted me a few days later and told me to file a report with you.
NOTE: another anomalous event in northern Michigan...lots of strange activity, terrestrial and non-terrestrial, the past year or so. Not sure what to make of this sighting but it is interesting and doesn't seemed to be CGI...Lon from Phantoms and Monsters

So now, as I ponder just why it is I'm so 'lucky' to have a constant presence around me, I think back to two more incidents that may suggest this is something much deeper than happenstance. I have also discussed this on several occasions with Jim Sparks, a noted and very credible abductee, with over 90% recollection of his experiences.
While in Palm Springs, in 2006, I was 'scanned' (for lack of a better term), by something unseen, while getting up at 3am to grab a glass of water. I was looking out the patio window on the third floor, as the downtown area slept. Earlier in the evening, while with my family, we watched several craft rise above the San Jacinto Mountains, bobble around a bit, then descend one at a time, behind the peak after about 45 minutes. One first, followed by the next. I guess they saw what they wanted to see in the valley below, and called it a night. This would have been directly in my line of site, from the patio.
This is the same spot I was standing at 3am, when a vertical, bronze/amber beam, about a foot wide, reaching from floor to ceiling, passing steadily from the back wall to my left, over my body, and across the right side until it disappeared. I was stunned. I stood frozen in that moment. I saw NOTHING in the air, the town was silent, and there was absolutely no traffic or aircraft whatsoever. Absolute silence, in the dead of night. Then it happened again! Almost in a steady, rhythmic and rotational cycle, like that of a lighthouse beacon, the beam crossed over my body in a smooth, fluid motion. I was ready the third time, if it happened again, and it did. With my left side to the back wall, and my right side aimed toward the balcony, I actually watched it start on one wall, move across, and as I looked directly across the patio to the mountains, it passed over my body again. Not a single source of light in the air, or on the ground, or anywhere from which this could have generated. This was the final pass. There may have been only 10-15 seconds between passes. Just three times. I thought then, as I do now, that something or someone may have activated something in me, to begin my 'awakening'. It was from this point on that my total immersion into the field of the paranormal REALLY began. Elk Grove was the first major catalyst to my interest, but this led me deeper into my study. This had some meaning. How could it not? And why the interest in me?
And finally, the most invasive, in-your-face event took place, about one year ago (prior to the SFO drone event). I had the most vivid UFO dream one night. We all have them, don't we? But this was very different. The morning after this powerful dream, which felt so very, very real, left me feeling somehow different. I then found a half inch incision (?) on my right knee. No scab. Just a bright red, blade-fine cut, with no soreness, and which disappeared almost entirely by the following day. But this was not a scratch. It truly looked like a scalpel cut. I've never seen anything like it, with all the cuts and bruises I've had in my life. And, this would be the same morning I find a very small 'bead' of some sort behind my left ear. It moves slightly to the touch, and inflames at times. I can feel it now. In fairness, it's never been tested, though I have my curiosity. I also now get a steady, deliberate tone that lasts 10-15 seconds at a time, almost daily, and only from that ear. Not piercing, but obvious when it takes place. It doesn't fade, and cannot be attributed to some medical explanation of ringing in the ears, that I know of. It turns on, then off, like a switch. And always for the same, short length of time. This bead itself, very much matches the description given by Whitley Streiber, whom I have never met, but admire his forthright attitude in speaking what he knows.

on the 12 of august at 11:25 pm me and my family waited out the back of the house scanning the skies for the meteor shower happening that night, and as i looked to the south east i looked at the horizon and saw what looked like a star but after a few seconds i could see it was getting closer. It flew in a direct flight path, and was golden in appearance and was pulsating brighter and brighter. This object was moving slowly enough that it lasted over 2 minutes. It was totally silent moving from SE to SW. I could see also that as it passed over my house apart from the pulsating orb itself all around it the sky glowed to a certain extent. And as a UFO believer i couldn't take my eyes off it, it was as if I was glued to the ground i stood, the fact that we don't see a lot of UFO's or rarely here about them here in Ireland it left me more bewildered gazing at it. It was quite a weird feeling after seeing it as it would have been very large if it wasn't as high up. I lost sight of the object then when i passed the horizon again. as it was my first sighting I now know to run and get a camera as it would of been able to be picked up on film. All I can say is I hope I get to see more.
