My Transforming Encounter

By William Hamilton III In 1976, urged by my good friend John Maxfield, we searched for a man named Brian Scott who claimed he had been abducted six times. This was an amazing claim in that year and we were glad when we finally located Brian through writer Jim Frazier. On his 16th birthday he saw a glowing orange ball of light come down from the sky to within a foot of where he stood, then it darted skyward, leaving the youthful Brian dumbfounded. The ball of light returned on many occasions, and on one particular night it came into his house and passed in front of a dresser mirror. Its reflection could not be seen in the mirror. Brian grabbed a broom and tried to bat the ball out of the house. Brian's first encounter with alien entities took place on the night of March 14, 1971 near Apache Junction, Arizona. Apache Junction is located near the haunting Superstition Mountains. Brian lost two hours of time the night of the first encounter. As we studied Brian and the remarkable automatic writings and drawings he executed while in a state of trance, we were drawn into his circle more and more as if under the influence of a growing vortex. In December of 1976, Brian and Jim Frazier set off for Peru and Bolivia. Brian was instructed by the mysterious being, Voltar, to go to Tiahuanaco and the Marcahuasi Plateau and stand inside the Portal del Sol, the Gate of the Sun. Marcahuasi is a unique mountain top, geologically unlike any of the surrounding Andes, located 80KM north east of Lima, Peru. Brian found he could not comply with the request made by Voltar because the Gate of the Sun was encircled by a fence and posted with a guard to preserve this ancient monument from prying hands. Brian was told that if he reached out with his hands and touched the ancient stone blocks, he would make contact with Voltar, mind-to-mind, and be able to perceive the ancient past of Tiahuanaco. Brian did this, only standing in the portal to the ruins of the Temple of Kalasasaya. He allegedly passed on to a higher state of mind and underwent a transformation from Brian to Brian-Voltar for a period of weeks. My job as a fledgling MUFON field investigator was to gather the facts and interview witnesses and make reports all with an objective frame of mind. Unfortunately, this ideal situation just doesn't exist and one becomes entangled like a quantum particle with the phenomena one is investigating. When a group of us went to LAX to meet Brian and Jim at the end of December and welcome them back home, I was unprepared for subsequent events. When Brian-as-Voltar came through customs, the inspector asked him if he was high and the overshadowing personality of Voltar now speaking through Brian in what appeared to be a normal state and not in trance replied that he was high on love. This did not sit well with the inspector and he asked further where Brian was from and when the reply came that he was from Epsilon Eridani, the inspector was baffled and asked if that was anywhere near Pasadena, California! It was hilarious. When we sat down to have coffee, Brian, who was an inveterate smoker, never touched a cigarette and talked about eating flowers. It was as if one person went to Bolivia and another one returned in his place wearing the same body. Voltar as Brian would look around and remark on something he could see happening on the other side of a wall which is something we could not do. As my friend John Maxfield drove me back to Los Angeles on the San Diego freeway and we passed Santa Monica Bay I noticed a large object hovering in the clouds above the bay that had an orange glow outlining its bulk. I asked John to exit the freeway at the next turnoff so I might get a better look at it with my binoculars. John drove us off the freeway to a residential side street where he parked. I got out of the car fast as I was afraid the mysterious object would fly away. I looked carefully at the object through my binoculars and determined that it was cylindrical in shape. As I peered through the magnifying lenses, a bright red light similar to a red laser seemed to emanate from the side of this object and enter my glasses and triggered something in my brain as if a "door opened". I put down the binoculars and told John that we should get back in the car and drive to our usual hangout, Denny's coffee shop remarking that Hector would be there. By the time we got there it was around 2 am. As we sat around a booth, Hector walked through the front door and joined us to talk. I had been saying some strange things since seeing the light, and I had everyone's attention. John wondered where I was getting this information from, and I could not tell him with any certainty. As the days of January passed, and we had at least two encounters with strange men, and as we progressed in the study of the strange drawings that Jim Frazier gave us, we divined one revelation after another, and my mental processing seemed to accelerate so that I was soon doing high speed calculations in competition with electronic calculators, and able to read whole phrases written in latin or greek. The efficiency of my mental processing, the frequency of synchronicities that occurred, and the paranormal experiences all started to accelerate until I, myself, went into a catatonic state and later into a period of 8 days where I had full dimensional visions of the cosmos from the beginning of our universe (or one of its beginnings) to the present day and far into the future. I spent a total of 22 days in this accelerated altered state of mind that literally changed my life and had an impact on my family and friends. The recounting of all the details of this experience that happened in early 1977 would require a book which I once attempted to write and may one day. Suffice to say that I learned the visions of the future to be partly symbolic and a few of these have come to pass and convinced me that these visions were not just hallucinations with no basis in reality. One of the visions involved the drying up of oil from just beneath the surface of the earth as our demands increased resulting in more earthquake activity because I could see the oil acting as a lubricant. There is more to come, and I saw the days get darker, much darker filling with clouds and destruction. Then, there was an abrupt transition, and a new day dawned on earth. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, people were smiling, and communicating non-verbally as well as verbally. Will this all come to pass? If so, when? These are questions I cannot answer even to this day. Time Travel And Teleportation Secret Governmental Star Gates And Jump Portals Between Planets Exposed

Since 2004, Seattle attorney Andrew Basiago has been publicly claiming that from the time he was 7 to when he was 12, he participated in "Project Pegasus," a secret U.S. government program that he says worked on teleportation and time travel under the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

"They trained children along with adults so they could test the mental and physical effects of time travel on kids," Basiago told The Huffington Post. "Also, children had an advantage over adults in terms of adapting to the strains of moving between past, present and future."

Nevertheless, Basiago's claim gets support from Alfred Webre, a lawyer specializing in "exopolitics," or the political implications surrounding an extraterrestrial presence on Earth. Webre said teleportation and time travel have been around for 40 years, but are hoarded by the Defense Department instead of being used to transfer goods and services faraway distances.

"It's an inexpensive, environmentally friendly means of transportation," Webre told The Huffington Post. "The Defense Department has had it for 40 years and [former Defense Secretary Donald] Rumsfeld used it to transport troops to battle."

Basiago said he experienced eight different time travel technologies during his stint in the program. Mostly, he said, his travel involved a teleporter based on technical papers supposedly found in pioneering mechanical engineer Nikola Tesla's New York City apartment after his death in January 1943.

"The machine consisted of two gray elliptical booms about eight feet tall, separated by about 10 feet, between which a shimmering curtain of what Tesla called 'radiant energy' was broadcast," Basiago said. "Radiant energy is a form of energy that Tesla discovered that is latent and pervasive in the universe and has among its properties the capacity to bend time-space."

Basiago said project participants would jump through this field of radiant energy into a vortal tunnel and "when the tunnel closed, we found ourselves at our destination."

Basiago claimed he can be seen in a photograph of Abraham Lincoln at Gettysburg in 1863, which he said he visited in 1972 via a plasma confinement chamber located in East Hanover, N.J.

In addition, Basiago said he traveled to Ford's Theatre the night of Lincoln's assassination on five or six occasions. "I did not, however, witness the assassination," he said. "Once, I was on the theater level when he was shot and I heard the shot followed by a great commotion that arose from the crowd. It was terrible to hear."

Basiago said each of his visits to the past was different, "like they were sending us to slightly different alternative realities on adjacent timelines. As these visits began to accumulate, I twice ran into myself during two different visits."

Being sent back in time to the same place and moment, but from different starting points in the present, allowed two of himselves to be in Ford's Theatre at the same time in 1865.

"After the first of these two encounters with myself occurred, I was concerned that my cover might be blown," he recalled. "Unlike the jump to Gettysburg, in which I was clutching a letter to Navy Secretary Gideon Welles to offer me aid and assistance in the event I was arrested, I didn't have any explanatory materials when I was sent to Ford's Theatre."

And how did these alleged time travelers return to the present day or their point of origin? According to Basiago, some sort of holographic technology allowed them to travel both physically and virtually.

"If we were in the hologram for 15 minutes or fewer," he explained, "the hologram would collapse, and after about 60 seconds of standing in a field of super-charged particles... we would find ourselves back on the stage... in the present."

Basiago said the technology should only be used for real-time teleportation, not time travel, because, "It would be chaos."

Webre, for one, said he wants teleports installed in every major city where people and products would be transported through the time-space continuum. "This would free up a lot of urban space that is currently being used by train yards or airports," Webre said.

Of course, there are risks. Basiago remembered feeling extreme turbulence while going through the vortal time tunnel. Webre said one tragedy occurred in the early days of the technology in which a child in Project Pegasus arrived a few seconds before his legs.

"He was writhing in pain with just stumps where his legs had been," Webre said.

"There's a saying in Washington: If two people know something, it's not a secret," said Alexander, author of "UFOs: Myths, Conspiracies, and Realities. If this was used by the Department of Defense, how did we miss the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq or the fall of the Shah of Iran?"

On the morning of 10/22/82 7:30 a.m. I awoke to a real sighting of an unknown object which was over my floor in front of my bed to the left. Ohio Man Tells Police Aliens Stole His Car

The Tuscarawas County Sheriff's Office responded to a call early Tuesday morning from an Ohio man who claimed that aliens had stolen his car.

Deputy Rick Morrison told the Times Reporter that the 28-year-old man contacted the sheriff's office at 1:36 a.m. saying that he had experienced car trouble shortly after "subjects not of this world" ordered him to drive to an abandon field.

Upon arriving at the destination, the man said, the aliens informed him the field would reveal itself to be an airport where extraterrestrials would pick him up.

According to Morrison and Deputy Mike Creager, the man said he was no stranger to alien abduction. Morrison said the man "told us he was taken before."

The man, whom police declined identify by name, told the deputies he had walked for hours before placing his call.

Morrison said that he believed the man, whom he described as having blisters on his feet, had walked from neighboring Stark County and that his vehicle was likely still wherever he had left it.

Reached by the sheriff's office, the man's roommate said he would come pick him up and bring him back home.

It's a risk for them, and they deserve all the credit in the world (and beyond) for taking it, especially Charlotte Engel, who heads up their independent production section, and greenlit the film over two years ago.

The next UFO-related film I make, assuming I ever make another, which is at best a 50 / 50 proposition, would probably focus on the tongue-in-cheek, weird and wacky world of ufology (where truth really is stranger than fiction). Something where I head out with my pals Nick Redfern, Mac Tonnies, Tim Binnall and Greg Bishop on a ufoological road trip across America maybe - definitely in an RV. Kris Lee Mcbride will be tagging along as well. At the end we meet the Court Jester of Ufoology, the one and only Jim Moseley. I've earned the right to look at the lighter side of it all.

But for the moment, I'm Mr. Serious, and if "Best Evidence" isn't quite Dick Hall's "The UFO Evidence" (and I never claimed it would be, knowing full well that no documentary can match a book for detail), Dick was still smart enough to see the merit in the project, and contribute, as were a lot of others.

And unlike Peter Jennings and his team, I was smart enough to recognize the contribution that Dick has and continues to make - he's in the film, along with Nick Pope, Stan Friedman, Bruce Maccabee, Mac Tonnies, Don Ledger, and our chief consultant and my good friend, Brad Sparks - as well as witnesses Colonel Charles Halt, Captain Robert Salas, and Lieutenant Colonel Bruce Bailey.

Is it the greatest film ever made? Hardly. But is it a film you're going to want to see?

EXAMINING THE EARTHLIGHT THEORY...
An investigation into a mini-flap.

By now we've all heard of "earth lights." Paul Devereux of Great
Britian coined the term in 1982 when he published EARTH LIGHTS. In
that book, Devereux developed the idea that UFOs are a byproduct of
natural processes in the earth.

Micheal Persinger of Canada had already been saying the same
thing for years in a continous outpouring of papers in which he
developed his Tectonic Strain Theory of UFOs.

Vanguard Notes...

Michael Persinger is the researcher working with pulsating and
targeted magnetic fields in the brain. He and his team created
a "helmet" using nails wrapped with many turns of wire to form
cylindrical solenoids. These were then mounted in a sort of
football helmet to allow them to hang over different parts of
the brain.

When connected to a computer as a "printer", various patterns
can be output to magnetically stimulate the brain with specific
and repeatable patterns.

One of the most fascinating results of the experiment involved
the use of subjects with their eyes closed. While a certain
pattern was projected or "printed" to the solenoids, a
flashlight was aimed toward the subject's eyes and slowly
lowered. (a loose description follows)

Asked to describe what they saw, EVERY SUBJECT said the same
thing,

"I see a UFO coming down, it is landing. Now there are
small grey people coming out of it towards me. They are
taking me into the ship. Now they are doing somekind of
physical exploration. I am now being taken from the
ship."

As the flashlight beam is lifted up, the subject's say that the
UFO is now ascending and moving away.

Dennis Stacy investigated Persinger's work in Canada and
reported on it in a December issue of OMNI. I believe it was
88'.

We also have papers regarding other experiments in inducing
feelings or actions in the body using magnetic, electric and
sonic fields. These are being placed on KeelyNet as time and
funds allow, with as much technical data as we can provide.

Unfortunately, despite Devereux and Persinger's passion for the
concept of a UFO/earth stress link, neither researcher has yet
proven the case that UFOs are purely a natural phenomenon.

Rock has been crushed in the laboratory, eliciting extraordinary
brief pulses of light, but the result of that experiment--in the
words of Brian Brady, who developed the experiment--the crushing of
rock cannot account for "discrete" light forms seen at high altitude
(read : spherical UFOs at high altitude).

In fact, Brady's experiment even does away with the famous
"piezo-electric effect" as a source of UFOs; in terms of energy
output, piezo-electricity is simply too weak to account for anything
more than momentary, diffuse glows of light.

If you want to demonstrate this effect for yourself Wintergreen

you crunch them between your teeth. Turn out the light and
chew one or more while watching the glow from your mouth in a
mirror.

As a matter of fact, when this effect was first discovered
about these candies, many people working in hospitals percieved
them as a very real danger. The concern was that people in
oxygen tents might chew one and the resultant spark might
ignite and explode the oxygen in the enclosed tent.

A scientific study was done on this phenomenon and the effect
had no ignition effect whatsoever.

More importantly, how can a mysterious, elusive and unidentified
physical mechanism create STRUCTURED objects? This is the great
failing of the "earth-lights" theory; it attempts to solve the UFO
mystery by ignoring the actual content of the UFO report.

Any unexplained object seen in an earthquake-prone region--no
matter how artificial in appearance or "intelligent" in its actions
-suddenly becomes a byproduct of ionization, plasmas or some other
little-understood electrical process.

In 1981 I began an investigation into UFO sightings that had
occured over 20 years in a single area, the Yakima Indian
Reservation in south-central Washington state.

In the early 1980s, the MUFON UFO Journal published several of my
papers based on my preliminary findings. Now the J. Allen Hynek
Center for UFO Studies has published my complete findings as a book:
EXAMINING THE EARTHLIGHT THEORY: The Yakima UFO Microcosm.

EXAMINING THE EARTHLIGHT THEORY looks microscopically at the
Tectonic Strain Theory of UFOs. I use the Yakima data (nearly 200
reports from a variety of witnesses, plus numerous color
photographs) to test the viability of the Tectonic Strain Theory
which Persinger believes explains the Yakima sightings.

The Yakima data form a "microcosm," a fascinating, self-contained
world of strange reports, which include a range of unexplained
occurences--orange balls of light, CE3's, possible abductions,
Bigfoot sightings, daylight objects, subterrrean sounds and more.

Nearly every part of the Reservation experienced some type of
unexplained event over a 20 year period, making the Yakima Indian
Reservation an excellent "laboratory" for detailed examination of
UFO phenomena.

Earthquake faults mark the ridges of the Reservation; it lies at
the foot of the volcanic Cascade Range; and fire lookouts were in
place on top of three mountains to observe and record strange lights
year after year...the right conditions for data collection, plenty
of UFOs and more than enough meticulous documentation to whet the
appetite of a curious scientist in serach of an explanation.

EXAMINING THE EARTHLIGHT THEORY takes the reader on a historical
journey, following the sightings to their most recent occurence. All
data of this unique mini-flap are used to thoroughly evaluate the
basic components of the Tectonic Strain Theory. EXAMINING THE
