In his story, the man said that aside from walking under the UFO, he was able to see another strange craft in the same area.
Encouraged by a number of witnesses, the disclosure of the man's experience was made known by the Centro de Estudios UFO (CEUFO) within the framework of an experience that occured to the north of the city of Toay, 10 km southwest of Santa Rosa, the provincial seat of La Pampa.
CEUFO's experts explained that the "disk" was some 12 meters in the air, suspended and in silence, according to estimates made by the witnesses who use the flagpole as a reference, which stands some six meters tall. They also added that "the experience was registered by CEUFO on October 19 (2009) and it only seeks to illustrate the considerable number and quality of the cases that take place in that region."
"A Giant Saucer"
As stated, the witness explained that "many people saw strange things and evil lights, but they generally keep quiet because they are afraid of being dismissed as nuts."
With regard to his sighting one night in May 1984, he said: "I was leaving my sister's house and I felt that something was going wrong in the back yard. I felt the sensation that something was pushing me down, or that there was a weight bearing down on me."
"When I reached a corner, I saw a flying saucer over the neighborhood soccer pitch, over the flagpole. The saucer took up half the street," he recalls, adding that he returned to the house and asked everyone to come out to see the flying saucer.
At that time he realized that two other locals were watching it. Their respective relatives came outside, and while some became frightened and ran back into their dwellings, others remained and discussed the event with their neighbors. "I was there for a while and had to get home, but my path forced me to go under the flying saucer."
Overcoming Fear
"Having overcome my fear, I plucked up my courage and started walking, while some neighbors told me to keep still, because I could be taken. When I got to the edge of the disk, I glanced upward with some mistrust and that's when I saw its eye. At its core there wars a circle that looked the sky, but it was very bright and had a certain fog to it. I stood there watching for a little while and then decided to continue, to call my wife so she could also see it."
"I got home and we immediately went outside with my wife, but at that time, the saucer began to vibrate and vanished toward the church, which is at the center of town." The man explains that at the time, both he and other locals witnessed "another flying saucer" some 300 meters from the site, over a water tank. This object also sped toward the church.
Local residents discussed other episodes involving saucer sightings in the area. He decided to make this episode public 25 years later. "I think this information may be useful to those who go around investigating this stuff," he told CEUFO's experts.

This is one of those UFO videos that looks amazing but has some confusing factors to it. This UFO seems to be very large in size, brightly lit and is hovering right over top of the city. There must of been thousands of people that had the opportunity to snap pictures, take video, or call the local news network. I did my usual research ritual that I do when I see a video or something worthy of blogging about. I search to see if there may be other videos that are related to that particular event. I search all the major news networks to see if anyone one of them covered the story. I don't spend a great period of time but it doesnt take long when you have all that information at hand with just a few intelligent searches. In this case it seems that this is the only video, nor is there any other trace of this incident anywhere. Could there have been only one person that saw this extraordinary event?
Now I'm not saying that this is not a real UFO sighting, there is no hard evidence that suggests that it is fake. I realize that the media only reports what's in their best interest but I can't believe that this wasn't all over the news in some shape or form.
I am also curious to know why you would only take 3-1/2 total minutes of video? I mean you have this extraordinary event occurring right before you and you stop taking video after just a few minutes. You could not pry that video camera out of my hand if this was my experience. This video in particular, the UFO is hovering before you and it doesn't shoot off into the sky out of sight or hide behind some clouds. So what happened after it drops the orb? Did it fly away? Is it still hovering there? Did it crash and burn to the ground? Well you get my point.....why do people quit filming the UFO while it is still in their sight?

I was driving from Murray Ky to Bowling Green to visit the family. I was jamming out to a soundtrack I had on my Iphone when I happened to look up on my lefthand side. I didn't look to see if anyone was behind me but I started slamming on the brakes slowly just so I could catch a glimpse at just how beautiful it was. I saw what appeared to be a large airplane but with a BRIGHT turquoise underbelly that was domelike in the front and got smaller near the rear but didn't come to a full point. The wings were short and had some turquoise on them as well as red lights on each end. It was radiating these colors almost like it was a thermo plane. I automatically questioned whether the black suv/tahoe in front of me saw it or if I was just seeing things myself. I believe that's why I slowed down and looked over several times. I kept telling myself nu uh.. theres no way.. but it was there every time I looked over. I was just entering Hopkinsville and I remember that because I wanted to remember a landmark so that I could be aware of anything in the news that was happening that might make this make more sense. The little green sign on the right hand side of the road said Hopkinsville and the closest building nearby was a church building so I used it as a reference point. The unidentified object was seen on the west hand side of the church building in an open field. I also just thought that it might have been the a thermo plane that picks up heat that the gov.would use to search for illegal crops or for someone who was on the run from the cops. But then again flying objects have codes to adhere to and these bright lights do not fall into code. I honestly wish I had stopped but being I'm a 24 year old female and was alone made things seem a little eery so I didn't. Don't know if I'll see it again but I kind of hope so, it was so beautiful and I wasn't really afraid of it. More like mesmerized. If anyone sees anything just report it, we all need to know.

The image from Dawn's framing cameras was taken on MAY 3, 2011 when the spacecraft began its approach and was approximately 1.21 million kilometers (752,000 miles) from Vesta. The asteroid appears as a small, bright pearl against a background of stars. Vesta is also known as a protoplanet, because it is a large body that almost formed into a planet.
Vesta is 530 kilometers (330 miles) in diameter and the second most massive object in the asteroid belt. Ground- and space-based telescopes obtained images of the bright orb for about two centuries, but with little surface detail.
Mission managers expect Vesta's gravity to capture Dawn in orbit on JULY 16, 2011. To enter orbit, Dawn must match the asteroid's path around the sun, which requires very precise knowledge of the body's location and speed. By analyzing where Vesta appears relative to stars in framing camera images, navigators will pin down its location and enable engineers to refine the spacecraft's trajectory.

Positioned almost perfectly to take advantage of the increased popular and media interest in UFOs, two different television series entitled UFO Hunters will be airing this year.
Clearly the model for each of these is the popular American Ghost Hunters franchise and similar shows from the United Kingdom such as Most Haunted.
The first will be on the History Channel. Each episode will follow four investigators (one a previously known figure in ufology, but not the others) from case to case. The official website has the reality-style video in the opening promo, but the videos on the site are in droning narrator style, and I suspect may not be part of the show (and if they are, they are pulling a serious bait-and-switch). The second is on the SciFi channel, a stylistic spin-off of Ghost Hunters. As with the other show, two lead investigators are the main "characters" with a rotating ensemble cast of investigators. The official site has video previews, and bios of the two lead investigators. It is noteworthy that both have ties to Bud Hopkins. And in a promo for the History Channel show, an implant case is featured prominently. This suggests abduction will be a significant part of the mix on both shows.
Personally, I think the SciFi show has a better chance at success. The format has been tested and works. Two main characters, with an emphasis on them being "everyday" people, rather than degreed experts. The Mission Impossible-style rotating cast of investigators that are called in for each case (and importantly, not all male). The use of acronyms (ala the now famous TAPS). By contrast, the History Channel show focuses on four men (no women) who are older, and in the promos at least one of them, the most well known ufologist in the group, is already talking about how they know many of the answers, etc. in a style more suited to the stock-footage/talking head style UFO tv shows that History Channel runs every week. Furthermore, the History Channel show is focusing on historical cases, from decades ago, starting with Maury Island, hitting Socorro, and others.
This is part of the problem both shows will face. First off, while UFOs are hot now, popular interest in ghosts and ghostly matters is much higher, and was before Ghost Hunters ever hit the air. Second, part of the reason people watch ghost hunting shows of any sort is because there is the supposed chance that the camera crew and investigators, skulking around in creepy dark abandoned buildings, could run directly into the ongoing phenomenon. That can be thrilling and engaging. By contrast, ufology is for the most part a forensic study (if proper research is even being done at all), looking for evidence (physical trace, photographs, testimony) to understand a past event, a sighting. Attempts to build up dramatic tension will be much harder.

The Cosmic Gurus and Councilors of Earth and Exopoliticians tell us that soon...soon there will be a Disclosure, but of course this never happens. After all these people makes a living with this. They sell books and curses of "Galactic Diplomacy". They write and get clicks.
Perhaps they are doing this until they find a real job, who knows?
Oh...by the way, I did make a discovery. The UFO sites and blogs have few messages or no messages at all in the weekends. Why? Because people have something better to do: they go to the movies, or go dancing or meet with friends. Wait until Monday and the true believers will again worry about these aliens that have all of them one thing in common: they are never there.
